Hello
Today, i checked my balance on fuzzbawls explorer. So i have a difference between fuzzbawl and my wallet of around 5000 Hodl. So, what is my correct amount? I have reindexed my Core Client with same result.
Thank for an idea.

I did what Fish just did and it now works for me.  I was pretty pumped I had mined 8k worth of fools gold.  LOL!   Roll Eyes

Anywho... After a reload of the entire chain and wiping the wallet transactions, everything is good... However, I must note that I was unable to use AVX2 as it was crashing mining every time.

This worked for me (or just omit the avx2 param).

-optimineraes=1
-optimineravx2=0

I mined 3100 hodl in the last day on just the newest wallet. moderate hash of 350. as for now the common man can mine hodl. Get to mining guys  Dont let me get all ur nuts. Fish

Try to spend it, man. I've mined about 7k today, but can't send any coin to anyone.

Sounds like you guys are on the wrong chain. Upgrade to 3.0.1 and even try -reindex.
yes i was on the wrong one also. i am dumping all and reload. i just saved wallet.dat and reload. i will update when i get back on chain.

In this case we need to escalate this problem to Freetrade.

@Freetrade: any idea?

Do we have a fork on the network?

Thnx

I think users on version 3.0.0 on some architectures are seeing some weird behavior. Recommended solution - upgrade to 3.0.1

getblockhash 268733

000000777edbdae1eff3cad5b2917dbe883267a17ea1b190f21f565ef368b3bd

-If you're getting this, then we're agreed on the blockchain - as is fuzz's block explorer, and coinexchange.io as best as I can tell.

anything else, and you might be on a different chain.

1 GB is required for the lookup table. You can forgo a lookup table and calculate each time of course - if you can calculate faster than you can retrieve from memory, that'll be optimal, but I doubt it.

Anyway, interesting work you've done on this, but I'm skeptical of  - "I'd guestimate a further 10x as the room for improvment" - difficult to make accurate guesstimates like that.

In regards to my guesstimation: Of course it is not accurate... it's in the word. My way of thinking: A new graphics card simply delivers 2-3x more performance than my graphics card. There are AES implementations which are ~2x more performant than mine. I believe this is my first OpenCL code and therefore probably not as good as it gets... a further 2x may be possible here just by how you deploy the workload onto the graphics card. 2-3x * ~2x * 2x = 10x.

Ok, I correct myself - I had misread and thought the guesstimate was for possible improvements on the same GPU . . . if switching to a more powerful GPU, 10X sounds pretty reasonable.
We've long believed that a GPU implementation could be competitive with CPU mining. At one point, the community was looking to fund a GPU miner, and while the Nutocracy decided against that in the end, it's not a showstopper as GPUs are widely available consumer electronics and GPU mining is not particularly contrary to the coins aims.
An ASIC implementation would be of more concern, but I'm skeptical of your claims wrt that. I don't have the expertise or the time to refute or confirm that, but as you noticed, a foundational principle is that the PoW can be changed to better support widely distributed mining. Therefore I doubt we'd see any investment in ASIC even with a billion dollar market cap.

WOOOWWW 3100!!!!! (that's 62 blocks!!!!!) HODL the last day on 350 H/S.  That's incredible!!!!!!.  Hey Fish, Lady Luck is definitely with you.

The most I ever got was 25 blocks on ~1200 H/S.

To some of you who discovered missing transactions:

- backup your wallet.dat (can be found here: c:\users\your user name\appdata\roaming\hodlcoin\ )
- compare your last received block (lower right corner of your wallet) with the current block http://www.fuzzbawls.pw/explore/HOdlcoin/network.php
- if you discover a difference you can start a reindex of your local block chain by entering 'hodlcoin-qt.exe  -reindex' in a DOS box

Your hodlcoin-qt.exe file can be found under windows in c:\program files\hodlcoin (or the folder where your HodlCoin link points to)

Be patient - this needs some time! Progress can be watched in the lower progress bar.

Good Luck

I just did what you mentioned above. Just lost an additional 800 coins on top of my 4000 coins.
Get a feeling this blockchain is not properly working at all. If these issues cannot be resolve how can i put faith on this coin.
I will not waste my time, effort, energy on a futile exercise. Will be dumping these coins.

Dev,
Yes i have very similar questions as well. I was mining then the wallet would not sync at all.
It was stuck in the same block for 5 days. Decided to start fresh by backing up the wallet and installing a new wallet.
After the reinstalled, a lot of coins that were mined disappeared. At least 4000 coins that i can recalled plus there is alot of conflicted transactions.
The conflicted transactions are from coins which I sent to be locked in for 12 months for a higher yield.
The wallet its fully sync but it cannot mined even though it sets for mining (tried for 3 days).
Is there a solution to this issue to try to recover the missing coins? And how to rectify conflicted transactions?
I reinstalled the wallet several other times from different backup versions I have made. Same scenario.
Please advice.
