Not a bad idea, I think any coin as long as it holds value, stability and growth should be treated as currency.

The difficulty has shot up to 170+ which supports the idea of larger wallets coming online. I believe that difficulty retargeting might be an issue, as it stands now only those with a large balances are getting stakes and are shutting out those without a lot of coins.

The difficulty is really high right now so this is most likely the reason stakes aren't coming through even though my stake weight is high.
