I got 1.4 million IFC does anyone want them? This coin is dead. I cannot even sync the wallet.

You can send them to the auto-faucet: i86R5mEaP7SFGfuGhzvzguuRH4c98AefzQ. Or see about getting your wallet file to almightyruler. Finally, I'd happily take them, but I don't want to be seen as greedy

Yes, this would be great! The auto-faucet has had no available funds for pretty much all of the last week (it cannot trigger sends below 10k IFC because of increased fees). There's only so many times I can beg for donations. (I do appreciate everyone who has helped, so far.)

I'm happy to share any donated funds around if someone else is willing to run an auto-faucet on their own *nix server (or VPS). Right now the script running on my server is a single point of failure, so it would be good to have it running on at least two, preferably more, different servers.

Hello guys and from me. Everyone here wants to activate again IFC and gain as much as he can. Without a team behind the coin nothing will happens. IFC survived and I cannot see any reason why we cannot bring it back. Hope to see it raising.

why do we keep going on about attracting miners?

we need to simply fork a good coin

pivx, or some other up to date good pos coin and coin swap from this old relic to the new code base.

Okay, that would work too. We need to attract devs then

if we need to do all this why is the price going up?

IFC is showing signs of life (especially in China). Improving the coin will allow for more widespread adoption, especially if we can get it accepted on more major exchanges. Right now, if we boosted the US community, most people wouldn't know how they could actually buy any IFC

exactly just work on getting everything right get devs list the coin on poloniex they will invest in it SMH and i must really applaud all those who are fighting to keep this coin alive who knows in the next two years coin can even be 0.1 u never know. Guys keep doing what u are doing to help the coin you will be surprised

Hey everyone-

I'm looking at what resources I do have to offer, since I haven't been able to put much time towards IFC. I think I can offer something very substantial for the community, but first I want to go over things I perceive as needed for IFC to grow in the US.

First off, we need miners. The auto-faucet is a great short-term solution for an incentive. Any ideas on how we can incentivise mining for the long term?

We need devs. Unfortunately, no one in my personal network seemed interested. However, if someone here is willing to spearhead the hunt for a dev team, I can provide valuable resources towards that.

Finally, we need to get listed on a major US exchange. Here's Poloniex's statement on getting a coin listed.

Here's what I can offer. I have access to an audience of about 350,000 monthly users, of which about 40% are US-based. The audience is primarily gamers, though there's a lot of overlap with with technology interests (including development and cryptocurrencies). This platform drives traffic to Discord communities.

So here is it. If someone or a team will take care of managing a Discord server/community, I can help it grow rapidly and bring a lot more attention to IFC.

Oh,i see it,but the website support Chinese language and we Chinese can go through the certification and trding on it.Besides, the website is the former jubi.com Register in the UK to avoid the Goven supervise. So i think we can trade on it even if we weren't Uk resident.

Guys,coinegg.com can trade IFC and have a nice volumn.

Is this the international version of coolcoin? The layout and wording on these two sites look almost identical.

edit: coinegg T&C says you must be British.  Grin

The coolcoin exchange doesn't have any plans to delist infinitecoin as far as I know. They are prepared to take the risk of double spends.

https://www.coolcoin.com/ifc/

According to the terms on the signup page, you must be an Australian resident to use their services. Not sure if they actually verify country of residence; maybe that wording is just there to cover their backside if something goes wrong.

Am I the only one who sees the messed up order book, with the price (BTC) field partially superimposed over the amount field?

They're delisting IFC in a few weeks. You can't trade it any more. (And from a post earlier this page, looks like you can't even withdraw it.)
wtfffff anyone know who was to fault about this? IFC devs or Cryptopia?

This is terrible Sad

Cryptopia claim a 51% attack, which is plausible considering that for a long time the network hash rate was virtually nil. It would have been very easy to double spend.
