folks, the warranty is only one month .. 100 USD divided by 30 days = 3.3 USD per day

compare that to a graphics card of say 300 USD and 2 years warranty => 0.41 USD per day

that's off by a factor of about 10. and i didn't even look at the hashrate difference

too risky for me.

UPS is delivering these today. Will run these from a batch file from the cgminer bundled with the dualminer install unless I run into problems. Don't need a GUI sitting on top.

Good deal.

By the way did no param string help you out at all with your DualMiner?

Testing it out now, appears to be a little quicker.   Grin

LOL that is a good one.
If he is a crypto Robin Hood he should send his spoils to me.  I'm poor and disabled and struggling to get by.  Not a joke.

On topic though the DualMiner people have been great both sales and customer service wise.  They keep in excellent communication and are actively developing their software with community input.
I am very happy with them so far.

Is this good or bad?
It's a lot of info but I am not sure what to make of it.

I think he believe's he's the crypto world's Robin Hood...  Nothing better to do than show people how he knows how to use Google.

Ah ok I did not know that.

He doesn't have anything better to do so he just attacks various threads with Tabloid type information. Best to use the Ignore function.

zellkoss: There is plenty of info in the thread on feedback, but my personal feedback is as follows.

Everything from the dualminer.com website has been professional, they ship fast and have great communication.  The dualminers work as advertised and are very easy to setup, windows machine is currently the only software supported but as you read above dualminer_3 is working on a linux version.  I can only speak for scrypt mining only, since I have not attempted double digging.  The units run cool mining scrypt.  If you want to run alot of dualminers it is required that you get a good powered usb hub, I am running 8 on a 3.5amp rosewell 10 port usb hub with no issues.  Some suggest a minimum of 5amps usb hub inorder to run 10.  There is a dipstick on the unit so make sure the position is correct, switch flipped up is scrypt only, switch down is dual mining.  Ask away any questions and I will try to help.

Excellent!
I think nwools and LukeJr are working on it now.  I hope it will not be long.
Thanks for answering my questions I really appreciate it.

Are you also opening it up a bit so other mining software like BFGMiner and MultiMiner can run these?
I am really liking my DualMiner it is just a pain to run separate mining software programs for them.

The firmware on the device is not upgradable. We don't need upgrade it actually. The firmware just convert USB to serial. Start from next version, our Windows GUI app will be upgradable. About PC Linux or ARM linux, since we will open the source code, users can upgrade to new version source code. To do a Linux upgrade, the user need have some experience on Linux.

Yes, BFGMiner and MultiMiner can run dualminer devices if the code merged into them.

Dualminer, I notice that on the op of this topic you mention that you can pay via btc. Why have you stopped that and do you have plans to restart it?
