I was reading resumes of previous AMA sessions and found many interesting things. I have got answers of questions which usually appear in mind. It is not easy to convince everyone to go for non familiar methods or alternatives of traditional ones. At the same time to educate the people is important. I think awareness about cryptocurrencies and blockchain based project is on the rise. InsurePal has done lot of work and understand the challenges and solutions. I also am long on this because this requirement of the time.

Q: What’s the biggest obstacle right now related to this project and how do you intend to overcome it?

A: Currently the biggest obstacle that we’re facing with is to communicate what are we currently working on (and create an understanding about the time this takes) towards the community. This is now done with consistent marketing actions and support across all our channels. The launch of the new website will definitely help there too.

Q: Will the pilot insurance provider be tracking data that can be used as a roadmap for other insurance providers of interest?

A: Insurepal will keep track itself of the results and all the necessary data. As a consequence it can show other insurers the effect of social proof and the pitfalls that should be avoided.

Q: What will be the biggest event or important milestone for Insurepal project in 2018?

A: The most important milestone will be the announcement of the insurepal concept with the first partner. Our plan is to develop several partnerships in different countries. We are now actively having meetings and discussions in 4 different countries.

New website will be up and running by the end of June. The initial roadmap, which we presented on the webpage still holds.



Have you held any negotiations with govern-based regulators?

Yes, we did. In fact we had many meetings with regulators. In many cases these were on exchange of opinions basis or introducing our project and implications that might have on insurance market.



Would European General Data Protection regulation affect development of the project?

No, not at all. Our solution will be compliant with GDPR.

This year has opened numerous exciting doors and presented endless opportunities for InsurePal as we forge ahead to improve and finalize our platform. With the first commercial implementation approaching fast, the product development team at InsurePal has shifted its efforts into high gear this past few weeks.

First, we held a series of process design sessions at InsurePal’s office to help the team visualize how the prototypes can be aligned with the brick and mortar insurance world where the first incarnation of our social proof platform will spring to life. As a result, a collection of sketched boxes with labels and arrows around them is safely stored in the InsurePal’s cloud storage, until the time is right to show it to the world.

After that, a couple of product design workshops followed where a London-based insuretech consultancy named Azimuth Insights helped the product team define exact steps that users will need to follow within our responsive web app. Each step that users makes corresponds with a defined screen in a series. When user receives an endorsement from its pals and the discount on insurance policy, a final screen with a champagne-pop notification shows up. Neat, ha?

We thought so too, but couldn’t afford to rest before all the screens were sparkle-polished with every icon positioned to the pixel and with every word of copy in the right place. The latter proved to drain a huge amount of brain power from our copywriting magicians.

Why? Because InsurePal is as much about bits, bytes and blocks as it is about social bonds and trust. And to build trust between you, the people who trust you and InsurePal, our team is ready to do a lot of hard work to deliver a highly secured and stellar platform users will be excited to use.

We aim to make the process of asking your friends for endorsement as easy, quick and efficient as possible. And to do that our team is ready to do a lot of verbal heavy lifting to support you at getting the right message across.
