They are currently busting out the Dev Sprint Bundle 3.

You actually posted a few links that lead to this information...

in side related news Ethereums pretty much near its full launch

That isn't entirely true.  Ethereum just launched their blockchain (thawing period currently) for mining and have basically launched their platform for developers.  User functionality is a staggered release that will be ongoing for quite awhile.

The way I understand it is that Maid will launch Safecoin with farming enabled and some user functionality with some third party apps ready to go from the start.  The Maid project will also be a continuously developed 'launch' but I think they are closer to having end user interaction.

That said, both projects are different and the poster who said that Maidsafe really has nothing to contribute to the Ethereum news other than, "Congrats and well done," is pretty spot on in my opinion.

True enough but in side related news Ethereums pretty much near its full launch so wanted to check if the maidsafe team was going to post a sidebar on that topic.

Ethereum and maidsafe is quite different from each other. If maidsafe should say anything at all it should be; "congratulations, good work."

Even when all coins are farmed, there will not be a safecoin for every person on the planet. The ratio will be something like 0.61. Think about that.  Smiley

Hmm someone woke up a sleeping thread
Since its been roused anyone in the dev team have any updates on maidsafe over the month and roadmap progress from the blog things are being kept low key more or less for now but since its the end of July a summary of the month seems worth asking, that said twitter seems to be updated so may just be repeating a question.

What does the future hold? Well, we can look to our roadmap for the answers. In the very near future (in the next couple of weeks), we will be releasing installers to enable users to download and run a SAFE Network locally on their individual computers. Beyond that our next development sprint will start week commencing July 6th (probably lasting for around three weeks) and though we are still mapping out specific objectives, this sprint is likely to consist of some or all of the following:

Further implementation of safecoin (some work here has already started)
Implementation of messaging infrastructure
Remove Transaction Managers (reduce complexity, code and increase security on the network)
Implement App Launcher infrastructure (enables secure login to third-party apps without the App Developer getting visibility of a User’s credentials)
Implement cross-platform/cross-network/multi-protocol network connections (everyone can run farming Vaults at home or in any network)
Implement POSIX disk interface (any app can treat the network as a local hard disk)
Implement public names and shares ( SAFE version of www, email, DNS and more)

already in talks to migrate some large DNMs over from tor to Bitnet

China is really showing some Coin innovation damn...never seen a wallet like this guys!!!! it has IRC built IN! decentralized.

Decentralized voice and video chat in wallet.

"Bitnet network is an encrypted virtual network independent of the Internet, in which you can set up your own website,This technology allows you even to set up a web site in an internet LAN set up. Bitnet network have their own independent domain name system, P2P network, more secure and transparent."

I think this one has been creeping low on alot of radars and it was partially due to people not understanding what the coin was about. Their new website just went up and looks fresh..

Do we know how much MAID is held by the Mastercoin people and if they have dumped any yet?
Mastercoin has at least half of the MAID. Some have, but probably not all.

Back to 1M$ market cap, what's going on Storj?

How close is Storj to being ready to host decentralised storage-related applications?

No Idea, but I think maidsafe will hit testnet 3 within two weeks.

I don't think so:
