So... the fork that didn’t happen, in reality it happened without anybody knowing?

How do you check the remaining coins left to distribute and the total coins in existence?

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ixc/api.dws?q=totalcoins 21130629.99900000  but I can't find any api call for remaining coins Undecided

I try to put this s*it together:
Ixc has max 21M, but the number is 21.13M and counting
The hard fork didn’t happen, but suddenly 1 ix is minted at every block
There are 450k ix left to distribute, but you cannot prove it
Archimedes made a fork that is not a fork

Now I am totally confused
Can anybody here help? And prove it?

I believe the exceeding coins represent the coins burned and mined again by miners.

"Fork happens at block 450000, Domob wrote the v0.14 update which includes a donatable mining pool and  increase in block size, current pool has premine, which has been repopulated by donations from community. Payout will be one ixc per block (premine distribution)." -ArchimedesIX

Can you guys see these things on code to prove it? https://github.com/IXCore/IXCoin/

Perhaps by looking at block 450000?

If the fork happened, what do we do we these coins on the new chain? Wait for a miracle?  Undecided

Unfortunately, due to too much lying, stealing, gaslighting and general inappropriate behavior everyone has quit.

Does a Faith based investment interest anyone at this point?

Does anybody still BELIEVE?!??

but do remember the split cause we had about 1-2 exahsh that wouldn’t update and I do remember seeing the explorer at the time for the original chain still going strong.

Vlad Q&A

1)Which chain is cryptopias's coins on then Vlad?

2)Will peeples priv key work on both of these chains?

3)What's the weather like in Romania today?

4)When moon?

Archimedes did the coding work so he should have the answers.  I can’t remember if and which exchanges updated.

Weather is nice here but we’re on house arrest for a pandemic where nobody can find a single sick person except on TV.

Oh, moon?

I really expected all these things to happen a few years a ago so now I’m confused.

That said I think we’ll see instamoon later this year.  Biggest FOMO ever...  Wink

Let’s do the maffs.  580,800 ixc premine which was generously returned donated by the community to be mined by miners.  So about 130,630 ixc have been mined leaving us with around 450,170 IX.  Probably 7-8 years left of mining reward even without any further donations.

Some devs and communities like to take and take, while others prefer to give.

The irony:  everybody (“investors”) have been chasing the schemers, and hype coins for the promise of quick easy riches when the Lion of real wealth was roaring out to them for nearly a decade.

Humans.

There was no hardfork, there is no split and no new chain.Vlad was only having a bad dream  Cool

It’s been a couple years and I’m having some memory recall issues but do remember the split cause we had about 1-2 exahsh that wouldn’t update and I do remember seeing the explorer at the time for the original chain still going strong.  Memory just another bad dream?  Say it ain’t so, bro?

Good thing I don’t really work here no more.

With the reputation of Yobit, I think any coin in Yobit exchange has a strong magnetic attraction that leading to a split chain. This mostly comes from Yobit slow to update and greedy demand fee for each time a coin list on that exchange needs an update on the source code. If your coin is in-development but listed on Yobit, chance are they likely split thanks to fucking Yobit.

These are not new coins. It's a redistribution of the premine to the miners.

So the hard fork happened, is it not the redistribution part of the hard fork as well?

I am confused

No hard fork then...
What is the command to know the exact residual coins left to distribute?

Total premine minus anything over 21 million.  There was a variable in the new code for donations to miners but Archimedes Kung Fu’d ok us before we finished it.

I am pretty sure I have successfully brought coins home from Yobit before.

I sent some successfully to Freiexchange too but haven't tried bringing any back from there.

If no hard fork happened, how is it that ‘new’ coins are minted, despite ixc reached 21M years ago?

I too have moved coins out of Yobit, but often times they lock their wallets for months for no obvious reason.

Yobit is the exchange on the old chain, right? Is FreiExchange reliable?

Why do you delete Vlad’s posts when you quote him?  Even small posts.
