Can anyone discuss preferable hardware requirements for the upcoming KORE wallet?  I realize there are probably many possible alternatives, but if you were personally going to purchase one dedicated laptop or desktop or other device for a KORE wallet node (under $1000 USD please, but under $500 USD even better), which would you choose?  Huh Smiley Cheesy

I don't think it's an unreasonable question. If it might take awhile, they are better off just saying that. You leave people to wonder and they just go away thinking the worse. This is not a no news is good news type of problem.

If they don't hit the deadline I am sure they will come forward and give details. I would rather the dev team take their time. A week now saves months of troubleshooting later for hundreds to thousands of people.

when the work on Bitrex is over?

Good question. It can get to be very irritating.

Patience it may be awhile. They are working out bugs. Better to fix them now then after launch. If you want to see what a disaster an incomplete wallet can cause take a look at PIVX's thread.

Thank you for the positivity.

This wallet, while it does SO MUCH more, is still mainly a piece of software that holds monetary units (in this case, KORE). I know I want a wallet that has been tested thoroughly, and then tested further, since it involves my money.

To the KORE Community:

First I want to apologize and take full responsibility for how this Swap is taking so long and it is on our end.
Yes, the KORE Product is more than fine. Just some sticky Tor issues at the moment we are all
working diligently on.
Lets not let this ruin a incredibly successful General Public Marketing event that is tantamount to having a USA
sports player promoting KORE on live National TV.
NOT ONE PERSON was negative, I repeat,...100% of the people we positive about KORE
Privacy and Security platforms and are anxious to use them.
Brazil is in the middle of a huge political main stream issue about Privacy and we nailed it in Brazil.
Brazil is the epicenter for South America and Silvana IS THE BEST of Brazil and huge there.
This marketing event WAS NOT for the Crypto Space. NOT for the USA, NOT for the EU.
Now you know this single effort we put into only,... South America.

Once the Wallet is out we can begin to market to the Crypto space.
This opportunity in South America was too good to pass up and proven huge success.

What I see is the Crypto Space thinks they are at the center of the universe and YES,.. you are,
For the "Tech end of Crypto". But KORE Projects end goals are not just the Crypto Space.

The KORE Team wants to thank Silvana for working with us to put this together.

MikeMike

1. Do most of the KORE developers work primarily in Brazil?  This is unexpected and very positive news. No. MX is the only Brazilian team member. It just so happens that his work ethic and his ability to get things done makes it SEEM like he's a team of people. Cheesy

2. One translation service said KORE in Spanish means "Sculpture of young woman dressed characteristic of Greek Art". Is this correct?
That's a description of a Greek statue. "KORE" , as we use it, translated into "Privacy and Security" in KORE-ese. Wink

3. How does KORE Portuguese translate to english? MX does a lot of our Portuguese translation, as he's a native speaker. That is, he does when he's not busy helping set up great things like a KORE tent at a major surfing event, or signing a World-Class female surfer like Sylvana or multiple live events at the same major surfing event.

4. Is Silvana on Bitcointalk.org KORE group with a KORE wallet address so we can tip her and thank her (so she will perhaps consider joining the KORE team for a long time.  She would be a great strategic Communications Manager!)I'm not sure, but if she is that would be COOOOOOL!

!!GREAT JOB MXRider420!! I completely agree.....GREAT JOB, MX!!!!

By the way, PVIX market share is at $168M USD.  KORE is at ~$10M USD.  Do the math.  😂

Most crypto wallets do nothing.  Meaning you open them up and let them run on your machine.  If it wasn’t for the task bar, you wouldn’t even know they are open.  The way I see Kore is different.  The wallet is actually practical as a functioning piece of software.  It will have (to my knowledge) a browser, txt/calling capability, trading with bittrex api, etc. in addition to the normal wallet stuff (mining, staking, Masternodes). Looking forward to the future.

FFS. The writer of the article needs some vitamin d via the sun.

Calm before the storm. Yes, if the storm is cash.
Watch the markets in 2018. The returns are going to be exponential for any alt that does anything well. Hopefully the rest die off so we can get on with it.
