How many if not secret received? And how often do you receive payments from the masternode? I have half of the coins. here I want to find an opportunity to buy the remaining ones and also run the masternode!

MANDATORY KORE WALLET v0.12.4.0  UPDATE:

This includes masternodes...

For those that missed it there is a Wallet update to v0.12.4.0
Update your wallets ASAP.
This is a mandatory update.
This is just a slice of the number of wallets out there but shows there are still some on the old 12.3.9 version.
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/kore/#!network

Wallets with these KORE addresses need to update.

                               1-11-2018 - v0.12.4.0

NOTE: The wallet still has the disappearing coins and reindexing
issues experienced by many PoSv3 coins at this current time.
For those not familiar with this issue just restart your wallet a few times
and the GUI will display the proper amount of coins in your wallet.
The KORE wallet update to version 0.12.4.0 includes:
Partial memory leak fixes, other mods and fixes.
Rather than remove the Bittrex trading window the wallet has been updated with
a check box toggle to "Enable Trading," found at the bottom of the page.
The wallet opens with the trading window disabled. Click to enable it.
Once finished with trades it is recommended to disable it.
The box to unlock for staking only is auto checked.
The staking icon remains on for a longer period of time when coins are sent out to stake.
Various links and spelling corrections.
Commented out a buggy non functioning wallet repair option.
Updated nodes list.
Added zapwallettxes to the kore.conf file.
Windows 32bit version.
Updated curl and dependency lists.
Increased outbound connections.
Increased the stake split threshold.
Lowered difficulty.
Updated ssl.
Various other bug fixes.

* IMPORTANT:
Delete your kore.conf file before loading or compiling your wallets
BUT: Save all your masternode setup data!
Here is a Masternode upgrade guide:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.28364423
Thanks to Matrix!
 Smiley

                    WALLETS:

Make sure:
zapwallettxes=1
is in your local wallet conf file.

Mac OS:
Is currently being worked on.
We were holding off till the wallet was 100%
but under the circumstances, it will now be done.

FYI:
I found this method useful and time saving:
To keep from having to go through the constant reindexing I every few days
make a copy of the kore folder after a reindex and then test to make sure it starts properly.
Then once I have that I replace the kore folder whenever restarting the wallet to get the correct balance to show.
This saves much time and it allows for a 1 time restart of the wallet rather than two and you dont go through the reindexing.

Cheers!
MikeMike

anyone please help me how to enable staking  Huh

Click on the Settings tab at the top left of the wallet.
Click on Unlock.
Enter in your wallet password.
Happy Staking!

 Smiley

NOTICE:
We are not far off from the wallet update...

1. can i stake the coins that are there to power MN?
2. If i stake the available coins, can I use them later for MN? How long would i have to wait till coins are availabe from stake to power MN?
3. Does the local wallet to need to be running to run MN?
4. I suppose the local wallet to need to be running to stake ... right?
5. What is the distribution rate of gains for MN, Mining and staking?
6. I think some of these infos should be available on the webpage ... somewhere easy to find ...?

thx for infos

EDIT: 7. What are conditions for payouts? Like: Pay out when you have min of 1 KORE or whenever there is a payout? How often can you expect to see payouts for MN / Mining / Staking in your wallet?

1) NO,
2) Yes, as long as the coins are mature they can be used for mn,
3) yes to start the node, Once the mn has been started you do not need local wallet running
4) YES
5) can't remember right now I'll update the answer when I find it (if I remember right though 45% of stake reward goes to masternode)
6) I'm in the process of making something that will help with all these and more Smiley
7) condition for payout is fee must be covered and your spot must come to #1 In the payout line
Cool that I'm not going to say since it's always changing

Instant KORE Node RC 1.0

Hello everyone, as yall know I have been working on a few personal projects to help support the network, these are not considered team projects but they are not released without team approval. Today I am releasing a Release Candidate for Instant KORE Node. To put it simply this is a linux version of a windows .exe (precompiled) with a script attached to it that will download all required dependencies. Currently this is effectively an "AIO"-Like release meaning it can be used for personal (debian based linux) computers or headless servers. Once I have more testing done and feel comfortable branching, I will be creating branches for everyone, meaning masternode owners can get a completely minimal build to take up as little space.

Below is a link to a video of the tool in use, took me a bit to create the video but as you can see it takes almost no time to setup now.

https://youtu.be/DFQdNSRTWMI

The .deb will continually be updated with the script to start it up being updated as needed.

Time required for a node with minimum system specs (1 core & 1 gig RAM) to be online is now a fraction of the time it used to be, now taking less than two minutes and fourty-five seconds for you to start your Linux KORE node.

p.s. The NMS will be released on Monday or Tuesday so I have the time to make an extensive walkthrough, there will also be a video on how to setup the NMS with BASIC instructions.

Matrix

Hey. Do I understand correctly? Soon we will be able to run the main Windows node in a few clicks?

Or is this all done for Linux?

P. S I noticed that the kore wallet has the support of the Russian language. Can you make a manual in Russian for the master node? I have never used Linux and knowledge of my English is not enough to start a node(((

Windows already supports this, not a windows masternode mind you, but a regular windows wallet.

Though this is for linux.

Edit: multilingual support for masternodes might be added at a later date, currently masternode support is only in english (only language I know)

Hi Kore team,

Loving the concept of this project, just wanting to point out a few outdated link I've noticed.
- https://masternodes.online/currencies/KORE/ : The Github link on the left is linking to a page which no longer exist.
- https://github.com/Kore-Core/KORE : There are mutiple places in the README.md file where it lonks to the old address (https://korecore.org).
- https://github.com/Kore-Core/KORE : The Whitepaper pdf link under README.md no longer works (https://korecore.org/kore.pdf), will be good to get an updated whitepaper.

I think adding the Whitepaper and a Road map, to the website will be very beneficial as that's what a lot of investors look for.
Especially with the up coming in built private web browser and Private VOIP.

Cheers,
LuckyMeYou

The white paper and roadmap are in the OP page.
Just not as defined as most people would like.
A definitive "white paper" is being put together even though
over 90% of coins white papers are not really white papers.
They are a glorified explanation.

Appreciate the reply, and good to know that a definitive white paper is in the works.
I'm more just wanting to call out things that can be fixed easily for now, like broken url links.

Cheers

The link works.
We will correct the old link thanks.
Feel free to PM me anything you find that needs a fix or if you have any ideas.
You can also post in the KORE Support thread in Discord.

Approximately 34% are still running the old KORE Wallet.
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/kore/#!network
Update ASAP to the new v0.12.4.0 wallet.
The staking rewards and Masternodes rewards will be higher.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.28934694
What % is needed? 100%? Or a super majority?
100% is wanted, 95% is probably max that is likely, but the more the better, older wallets actually go against network stability and do a little bit of fighting with the new wallets. Now one release is not a super big deal, its when the same thing happens the next release and the next one where it begins to be a real problem.
