beware of the kraken.com scummers.
no withdrawal of crypto (not fiat!) for a week.
the scum is pretty smart: they don't deny a withdrawal but send a fake link to confirm the withdrawal address (that is required for the safety purpose of course Smiley).
so this service is completely dead by now.

We can discuss much more here regarding each problem of every person that was losing money because of Kraken terrible trading platform.

My issue in short: I opened a limit order for a position with leverage, I also canceled that order before going to sleep, my trading history can easily confirm all these, guess what happened when I woke up: the order was magically filled even though the order was canceled by me at least 20 times (my trading history can easily confirm this) because as we all know you can't really expect an action that you perform on kraken.com to go smoothly without errors from the first attempt. The position was eventually liquidated, position that was opened by kraken.com, how epic is that? I have proves of all I am saying in my trading history, I also sent them print screens in my conversation with the support team (even though you can not call that conversation, I was receiving automated replies, that's how they treat customers). My ticket was opened 12 days ago: 909449

I really think we should be realistic here and stop living in a fantasy world, Kraken only cares about their profit, they don't care about us, our only option is a class action, we all have jobs and we are busy but we have to find time for this guys, we have to give an example out of this company. And don't worry, our moral damages will exceed by far our original losses that were due strictly because of kraken ridiculously poor services.
I love how people pretend to sue left and right. In my experience, even regulated exchanges tend to have 'risk disclosure'. They do not guarantee anything, any technological risk - is yours and yours alone.

What else do you love Daemon? Or you love only people who are pretenting to sue left or right? What would society do without people like you man? seriously...

Just have a little decency and read few pages from this thread, read Kraken's twitter also before enlighten us with your wisdom.

Hi nevermindthebotox. If you haven't yet, I would suggest opening a ticket here and escalating said ticket using this form.

i did contact customer service by e-mail, still it took six days to get deposit approved. And almost three hours to transfer that to ETH and move it away
from your service. Your site kept getting "cloud error" and i didn't get confirmation e-mail to confirm receiving address and then transfer itself.

Piss poor performance if you ask me (and this was T4 business account).

Still only seeing PR-stunts in terms of service of Kraken in this forum. Understandable that people are happy when they know they have  not (entirely) lost their money to some kind of SCAM scheme

Waiting for several months now that:

Several calls are answered at all.

Appropriate refunds given for others for which only hollow apologies and promises were received.

Solving problems which are going on for almost a year if not longer.

Some requests are very similar to requests posted in here in the forum, some others might be a bit more complex, but should have been solved long ago. The main difference to the ones in this forum is that the website tool was used. Apparently, crying out on a forum makes them move faster as people are publicly complaining. However, when your problem can be ignored they will do so as can be seen in our but also many other cases where people only get "service" when using public channels.

Stay away from this SCAM.

Although I find kraken to be one of the best exchange, I sometimes have to withdrawal big amounts to them after seeing the withdrawal fee. Its 0.001 BTC. Kinda like $17 at the current btc rate. Yobit had already changed their rate from 0.0015 to 0.0008 btc. It wouldn't hard them much if they follow, they do have a lot of traders there anyway.

My deposit is on hold since 5 days, the support said i forgot the text „kraken.com“ in the bank transfer but i proved it with a screenshot. So i got answered that its okay now and they are going to release the deposit now, but its still on hold! Now im not getting any answers from anyone on kraken. This is just not how you should threat your customers!
Im just loosing money this way and im not the obly one with this problem.

my problem is 6080€ Deposit on hold (29.11.17), I send two tickets to Kraken suport, no answer!
When the next day's everybody from suport see this, please help and look ticket number 949356 and 941481 all other way I have done!
Then I escalated the Tickets, nothing is happen! Bitcoin fall to 7500€, and i can do nothing, fucking situation!
It's not my first day or buisness with Kryptomoney, I have Tier3 verifikation and make many other deals on this Side before this happen.
But when I see these problems with Kraken on this board I hadn't done it, but to late! I know it is weekend but 30.11.17 and 01.12.17 isn't weekend and they do nothing.

Excuse my english, I come from germany and learn a little bit scool english before 40 years.

I can't be happy, panik sell is not my thing I send the money to buy and not to look out of the window when everybody makes money but me!
In a other post somebody write he supposed "Kraken work with your funding" with a little bit fantasy I can believe it. All times when you must do something it gives problems Error520 and other things, that's the opposite of professional !
I mean it's a strange Game.
Money (Deposit ) on hold in this situation that smells you (Kraken com) such a intrinsically beneficial.

My intention for this post is that people who makes first steps, understand what can happen, and the day will be comming.

I am trying to withdraw my bitcoins from kraken. It said I have to confirm the withdraw address in an e-mail, which I never received. I tried it several times and now it says "Service is currently disabled. Please try again later". Besides that, the site is constantly crashing and not reachable. After I received my bitcoins, I will never use this exchange again.

€: I received the e-mail now and I could withdraw my bitcoins. Regardless I will avoid this exchange now. You can't have such an instable service when there is so much money involved.

Have you read through the problems of all folks in this thread? Have you tried to correlate deposit problems to price shifts? (Apparently not, otherwise you would probably not ask.) And maybe you are one of the very few exceptions not experiencing problems on this platform.

There are massive problems for a lot of folk to withdraw and/or deposit funds.

It is barely possible to place and cancel orders on Kraken.

This in itself already sufficient reasons to call it a scam.

The service is just a farce, and so on and so on. Take a few minutes and you will see. Have fun =D
I read whole thread and I know  that there is a lot of problems,
but that Can not call a scam, if nobody has lost his money permanently.

Then you have not read the thread, as a lot of people lost serious money on Kraken. Take iCoinWatch for example. Just to name the first coming to mind without having to go in the thread.

In our opinion it is a SCAM.

And we will keep calling Kraken that until they finally have solved the problems, and start to answer to service calls via their website in a serious way, and not with a bunch of hollow phrases and promises.
