What happens, if I don’t buy my asset token back?
If you don't buy your asset token back on the settlement date, the trustee will sell the asset at fiat currency auction. The auction proceeds will be distributed among the asset token holders in crypto-currency or fiat.

What is KYC and AML?
Standing for "Anti-money Laundering", it is a set of procedures, laws or regulations designed to stop the practice of generating income through illegal actions. In most cases money launderers hide their actions through a series of steps that make it look like money coming from illegal or unethical sources was earned legitimately.

What is KYC and AML?
Know your customer (KYC) refers to due diligence activities that financial institutions and other regulated companies must perform to ascertain relevant information from their clients for the purpose of doing business with them. The term is also used to refer to the bank regulation which governs these activities. Know Your Customer processes are also employed by companies of all sizes for the purpose of ensuring their proposed agents', consultants' or distributors' anti-bribery compliance. Banks, insurers and export credit agencies are increasingly demanding that customers provide detailed anti-corruption due diligence information, to verify their probity and integrity.

The LAToken model has several advantages...
Also several interesting points to addition. Smiley
- Independent appraisals are used as a benchmark to ensure that the prices are fair. However prices of tokens and property sale are determined by market auctions at the settlement date.
- Custodian can be international, there will be many certified custodians.
- Custody sells the property at an auction which together with independent appraisal insures that the price is fair.  Insurances will be used.
- Will be insurance and verification for artworks.

The LAToken model has several advantages.
a) Blockchain is vital to store property rights of tokens and process transactions which enable secondary market for fractional ownership.
b) Tokenisation allows to sell fractions of assets on a secondary market. LAToken make tradable real assets in crypto. This makes illiquid assets liquid and unlock their value for asset owners, while crypto investors enjoy opportunity to diversify crypto portfolio into real assets without exchanging crypto to fiat.

Do the real world transaction fees apply when buying real estate (shares)?
That’s not something that can be just ignored because you are paying tokens via a blockchain.
These real world transaction fees are similar for LAToken model and for a traditional model. But totally LAToken model will be more beneficial.

Does the transfer of shares can only be done by notarial acts? Does the shares in real estate have to be listed in a land registry?
I interested in it too. The 1st step of any real estate tokenization must be transferring a share of your asset to a trustee who keeps it until the settlement date. But I did not fully understand the transfer procedure yet. Roll Eyes
