4 months old github code : https://github.com/withthelemons/lemoncoin or https://github.com/lemoncoin-project/lemoncoin.
I am interested in this new Argon2 PoW. Any updates ? Any exchange planned ?

Right now I'm working on making pool daemon work. We are listed on C-CEX. https://c-cex.com/?p=lemon-btc

Did I get this right: This coin does not use plain Argon2, it's a variant with Scrypt-Jane added?

If so, it explains why stratum is rejecting all the found blocks.

This coin would get a great hashrate pointed on the chain if the algo is plain Argon2. To make this clear, I'm gladly hosting a pool if a solution is found for the mining algorithm, stratum implementation of your algo or change the algo.

Yes, LEMON uses Argon2 with Scrypt-Jane. This is same as other "argon2" coins.
I would have actually preferred to use just Argon2, but for compatibility reasons with miner (I didn't wanted to create modified version), I decided to use same POW hash as other coins.

I don't know why blocks submitted by stratum daemon are rejected. LEMON block submission code is exactly same as Dogecoin 1.10. Maybe there are some differences in block format. Other argon2 coins use really old codebase, so looking at code diff is not useful, most lines are different.

I am willing to make changes to LEMON to make this situation better.

I am new to coins can someone tell me how to get the wallet from github and how to mine this coin

You can look at doc/build-unix.md or doc/build-osx.md in repo for building documentation.

Mining guide is in the OP.

Hmm...seems that the stratum job delivery works well, but submitting a found block makes errors in my stratum:

Code:
ERROR: rpc_do_call: coind:28443 500
ERROR LemonCoin Invalid mode
*** REJECTED :( LemonCoin block 147014 1 txs

Investigating the issue, all other argon2 coins works on my pool, this makes no sense at all to me if this coin's source is forked from any of those.
I'll gladly host a LEMON pool if I find the solution.

LEMON is very different from other Argon2 coins. Other Argon2 coins are designed and coded badly and they are based on Bitcoin 0.6 (4 years old code!). LEMON is based on Bitcoin 0.11 and Dogecoin 1.10. So I would recommend you to look to Dogecoin for reference and not to other Argon2 coins.

WHAT'S THERE TO KNOW ?
A coin named Lemon will never have widespread merchant adoption, just saying..

Unless of course you sell homemade lemonade for LemonCoins with a LEMON iPhone or Android App for Payments on hand @ your stand Cheesy

You could even market your own Lemon Flavored MIX Product and sell it for LEMON Cool

also this coin will pumped some day , i'll take my time

if there is no whale in it, then it will do nothing... but i remember CryptoFocus on C-CEX was 100Sats and was pumped to 40000sats, so you never know... hoping for a whale.

When we will see a pool again? Sad

A new EU based pool:

http://louhimo.club/

To start mining:

Use stratum+tcp://louhimo.club:8012 as the pool address and use a LemonCoin wallet address as your workername. As worker password, use anything or if want to set a suggested difficulty for your worker, use for example d=1 as worker password to set suggested diff of 1.

Example for cpuminer: cpuminer -a argon2 -o stratum+tcp://louhimo.club:8012 -u LemonCoinWalletAddressHere -p d=1

At the moment of writing this, there is ~200kH/s of network hashrate. Feel free to join the pool.

Added to OP.

Finally!

Also, are you giving translation bounty?, I want to translate thread to spanish.

NOTE: Do you want to get LEMON Android games posted on Google Play Store?, I have a developer account.

Cheers!
