If you see no potential in LEOcoin.....

It was more like a question.

Some people told me about Leocoin and I am trying to understand the concept and of course the advantages.

And I have to admit that I have a hard time ... - but that might be due to my inexperience ....

In any case, as you said, it is a question of demand and supply.

Demand will only be there if there are advantages over FIAT, isn't it ?

LEOxChange confirmed that the withdrawal fee is indeed charged in order to cover bank and administrative costs.

Where are bank fees involved when I withdraw Leocoin from LeoXchange?
3% fee for a transfer of Leocoin from LeoXchange to my private wallet Huh

@Leocoin Foundation

yes, let's focus on Leocoin and how Leocoin Foundation can help to make it popular.

I am an entrepreneur - I have customers worldwide.

So, how could Leocoin help me - compared to FIAT currency ?

I currently can not see an advantage compared to FIAT money !

@Peter78
If you see no potential in LEOcoin, stay with what you trust. LEOcoin is a project that started a good one and a half years ago. The code, the mining and the exchanges are free and open to everyone. No one is held to take part in the LEOcoin ecology, you can support it and are entitled to ask critical questions, or you may opt out.

The LEOcoin Foundation is even younger and tries to get things moving. The first priority has been to stop the dumping of the LEOcoin. With a price of pennies and that only represents a fraction of the actual mining efforts, it is obvious that those who dump and sell, have no confidence in LEOcoin. Neither the LEOcoin Foundation or LEO Ltd. has been selling LEOcoins, as we want the LEOcoin to have normal value as this is beneficial to all LEOcoin owners, including yours truly. Most miners acquainted with YAC and UTC will understand that the LEOcoin developers needed a plan B. This is available and their suggestion will be presented, when the Bali conference is over.

@Cryptotraider16
The prices you dream about sound good to me, but at the moment a bit premature. Market demand and supply create the price, so it could happen, but it must not happen. LEOcoin Foundation understands that a lot of work needs to be done to alone reach double digits, but we shall try for certain.

re. fee for bank costs
LEOxChange confirmed that the withdrawal fee is indeed charged in order to cover bank and administrative costs. When LEOcoin becomes of more importance, perhaps competition between banks could lower the height of the fee.

Re. fees on third party websites

Sorry guys (and galls), but all fees for whatever exchanges are already mentioned on the respective websites, so copy paste orgies do only show that it is open and accessible information. Please choose the exchange that fits your own preferences best.

As mentioned, I have asked the LEOxChange management for additional information regarding the withdrawal fees, but as said, fees like that are perfectly normal once international bank transfers are involved. For the rest, the LEOcoin Foundation does not have an exchange or direct selling office, so please let us focus on LEOcoin and on how actions from third parties that involve LEOcoin might benefit the owners of LEOcoins. For questions regarding LEOxChange or LEO Ltd., please contact their support departments.

@Leocoin Foundation

The withdrawal fee is not a commision on trading, but a fee that is due when a member of the LEOxChange withdraws currency from the LEOxChange and if this withdrawal is in fiat-currency from international bank to international bank, indeed bank costs will arise.

Do I read correctly that there is also a 3% withdrawal fee on Leocoins ?

So if I buy Leocoins, there are no fees.
Fine.
But as soon as I want to use my Leocoins , I have to pay a 3% fee Huh

@LeoCoin Foundation

Hi,

I very much like the idea of a non-for-profit LeoCoin Foundation.

But I am still unsure of what is exactly behind/in it ....

For example, could you tell us a little bit more about the "Annual LEOcoin Foundation conference" ?

When will it be ? Where ?

@Peter78

As you could have read, the Annual LEOcoin Foundation conference is a meeting for members/supporters of the LEOcoin Foundation. Those concerned will receive an invitation.

I though that on of the advantages to use Leocoin and LeoXchange (compared to my bank) are the almost non-existing fees ?

Peter78, there are no transaction fees on purchases and indeed a small commision of 1% on sales, which is similar to e.g. the LEObit Exchange. So in fact the statement on the LEOxChange website is fully accurate.

I will see if I can get a statement regarding the withdrawal fee from the management of the LEOxChange. The withdrawal fee is not a commision on trading, but a fee that is due when a member of the LEOxChange withdraws currency from the LEOxChange and if this withdrawal is in fiat-currency from international bank to international bank, indeed bank costs will arise.
