Charlie Lee dumping to buy litecoin fork* LitecoinPlatinum[emc2usd]  Cool weee ===>

Well as tempting as your implied offer is to join EMC2 coin with it's one week gain of 0.78% (hahaha)

I think I'll stick with Litecoin on its 175% gains for the week or 224 x more gains - but thanks for pointing it out to us!

I also asked on a different platform about the poloniex cash out error. I got the tip to cash out to Legacy address and that worked perfectly.
Please help Poloniex te fix this buy, would be nice if we can cash out to segwit address

Following LTC since 2013 I finally had the courage to buy yesterday on the small dip (after the crazy surge).

Cashing out from Poloniex to my ledger segwit address I get the following poloniex error:
"invalid address".

I c/p the address from my ledger and tripple checked it. Tried the cash out twice and got same error twice.
Since poloniex is famous for it's slow support I figured I ask here.

Is there any issues with cash outs from polo to ltc segwit addresses?

Why bloody today?

Bad news? It can’t be.

So it must be the whales that play with the small fishes?

Peace.

This thread tickles me - just saying -

Did anybody really catch on to what Charlie Lee talked about on the news the other day? The message as I saw it was LTC is a long term position- he is maintaining the original goals of the crypto community (on live T.V.) portraying LTC as a decentralized anonymous currency that is going to upend fiat (mainly the greenback), he did not play into Wall Street or the Banking game, he truly came out honest and told it how it is and what crypto is for, unlike the twins and so many others that are dragging BTC into a mess of regulations with their ETF's and other baloney, the whales are out splashing about and might have lost sight of what crypto was designed for and you can bet some of them speak of their wishes for a decentralized currency but how many are truly still involved in the movement (just a question guys),
LTC saw a spike coming from public awareness and those of us in the know picked some more up in support or in fun but can LTC really really pump like BTC at this point? Probably not (even though it has lately been killing it could it reach 16k?)- when the founder is dead set against it moving away from being decentralized and probably working towards keeping it there i think the Bears win with LTC and I think it will be further adopted as a payment coin cause there are alot of people involved in supporting decentralized coins that have been involved in crypto for well over 5 years and LTC has proven itself - it is the coin I use when I make crypto transfers, I buy it at one place and send it to another, cheaper and faster and I know i will be able to use it just moments after I send it to an exchange.

Hope your tickled by my comments.

when I say sell before Ripple dives.  I mean like within the natural flow.  every coins gains and then retreats us from that gain.. so sell at the top of a peak .. I never said it was gonna bomb totally. geez some proportion.. anyhow you are micoscoping too hard. let's leave it. you clearly don't get my drift.

As for which banks..

Bermudal if you are gonna quote me then quote me don't twist my words - I never said

"Ripple is gonna crash because the big 15 banks own it"

I said the banks (like JP Morgan and other bankers around the world) were the same ppl trying to spook everyone with the same old one liner "its a bubble, its a bubble" because they don't want to lose control as the control and profits of money goes back to the people via crypto! So don't feel a thing as you cash in your ripple profits before they dive - and into a cooler coin like Litecoin"

in other words how about we crash the 'banks' coin by reaping profits of stock we hold in them buy selling out at the top of a rise (any rise) because they have been ripping the world off for generations and are the opposite of Satoshi's vision.

get your facts straight man.

Litecoin for the long term Smiley

------------------------------------

PS: Charlie Lee is a good man - if I was in his position & heard about people putting their whole house into cryptocurrency I would also be hosing down expectations - never never bet more than 5-10% of your net worth on high risk investments, no matter how solid the history

exactly, you are saying banks own it, then you say banks hate crypto, and then you say cash in your ripple profits before the dive. These claims combined means: Ripple is gonna crash because the big 15 banks own it.

You understand with these things you claim alot of things.. you might not like ripple because it does not fit in your ideologie. But it does fit in the real world of the common lazy people who ain't got time for crypto shit and just want someone to handle it for them - read: bank -.
Also.. what 15 banks and where is your proof?

and this one, claiming that the quality ones are the ones with a low supply, thus making it grow harder? " I think we could easily see 2-3 trillion market cap for the whole industry within a year which makes every coin worth a lot more & the quality ones an order of magnitude higher - specially the ones with a limited issue like Litecoin (84 mill) & not billions or a billion like Ripple" <-- direct quote this time.

After all, this is all beside the point. by bashing ripple you don't make litecoin look any better. In my eyes litecoin and ripple have different goals. Litecoin for the alternative payment as consumer. And ripple for integrated bank transactions to replace the old system.

So yeah, i got my facts kinda straight. How about you?

I think the rise will continue after some consolidation. If it just were a short spike, the prise would go down quickly which didn't happen

Old projects are rising very recently. I think this rise will last. I got out of bitcoin and went to litecoin. the rise will continue for a few more weeks.

Buying LTC is extremely risky. I expect us to have a multi-year bear market like the one we just had where LTC dropped 90% in value ($48 to $4). So if you can't handle LTC dropping to $20, don't buy! ----------------------charlie lee warning....

should i sell the litecoins now?

You are free to do what you wanna do that is not right place to get honest advice. Crypto is always risky when price suddenly spike but there is good chance to get stable above 0.01 BTC.

i do  know that ..but LTC is dropping by value.. more pecisely what  do you suggest.. should i hold the coins or sell it off?

depends if u hold 1-10 ltc i wld hodl...if u have 10000 ltc i wld cash out an enjoy a good life LoL...it's up to you no one knows even btc dropped  Smiley

I think his tweet is a sorta of a social experiment, maybe he's trying to scare the speculators in order to "purify" the coin from quick scalpers...and, least but not last, just telling people don't invest too much  Smiley
