This time situation and awareness level of people and investors about cryptocurrencies is of high level. The growing interest of investors of all levels is assuring that coming times are excited in long term if you have targets that way. Litecoin has taken off and from here we should expect just good for this.

Against the backdrop of what news did this increase in lightcoin begin? A couple of days ago, I looked at 100 and thought, "that's how much he grew up."

The fact that it dipped to 300 twice and held strong is positive news.
On GDAX the usual pattern as of late is two green candles then a red.. this is the red right now so load up time.
i am thinking the way this is moving that 1k is right around the corner. The closer it gets to that mark.. the faster things move.

Everytime Litecoin goes up another $1 I get the Woohoo! feeling hehe

Haha months ago when I was an utter newb and joined coinbase I chucked some money into Litecoin. I'm actually doing reading into the currency now and I'm so glad I did 
I guess this is another reason litecoin is gaining. Lots of coinbase people doing their first excursions into crypto...

I believe you are right. Now it's time to make diversification of quality and BTC will need to give away some of the billions. Look, first it was LTC now it's ripple +80% Who is next ?

With these development at litecoin being able to catch up with price of bitcoin, it becomes a great revelation to the image of litecoin. Lots of investors are flocking into litecoin now.

Oh one thing I forgot to mention..

For those looking to verify the status of Litecoin's undervalued price and why we are seeing these rises think about this:

On July 11 this year Litecoins Market Cap was U.S.$ 3.3 Billion and Bitcoin's Market cap was U.S. $120 Billion.

So that Means Litecoin was about 1/40th the size.

Today Litecoin's Market Cap has blown up 5x to 16.8 Billion Versus Bitcoin's x 2.35 to 282 Billion

So that means Litecoin is now bigger than 1/17th of Bitcoin and growing rapidly

the price growth still has a lot of catching up to do by my calculations
a Litecoin right now in real terms should really be worth $637.

I guess that's part of the reason why all the articles about Litecoin tend to conclude its undervalued.

Litecoin hasn't forked because they were already smart and so with Segregated Witness, as soon as it was released as a proposed blockchain upgrade to allow speedier off-chain transactions, Litecoin threw its full weight behind the proposal and was the first to integrate it.

Litecoin also has the small transactions exchange advantage in particular, as the fees are substantially lower than those for Bitcoin.
So for the traders / investors you'll spend less money paying to buy or sell Litecoin than you would Bitcoin.

People are also waking up to the fact that Litecoin does pretty much everything Bitcoin does but 4 x faster, mining it is easier & takes way less energy but unlike ETH & Ripple its still pretty limited supply at 84 million. And its way cheaper* than BTC, ETH, BCH or Dash.

If my projection chart (simply based on December daily price levels) is correct and we do get to $700 this year, the current price will look like a bargain

Just wondering why Litecoin will never be Forked?

Litecoin should reach $800 to $1,000 (if not more) by end of 2018.

OMG all coins are doing good at the moment and litecoin is already 200% up.

Lite coin has always been the silver of bitcoin, it's just rising in price, I really like DEV Lee, I'm happy to see these projects being known worldwide.

Are you kidding me so undervalued in my opinion at 320, nice support at 300 to 310  how long until this coin runs up like Bitcoin, it's doing it now! I mean how long until Litecoin is adopted for speed and low fees and Bitcoin dumped and only used for wealth storage. It must be just days ahead not even a month. Litecoin was on CNBC the other day and it's one of the big 3 coins at Coinbase where they are signing up literally 100000 accounts per week.

Below reprint of my opinion from a few days ago, just my opinion...
It should be obvious to both Professional Money Managers and the public that with the
High Bitcoin fees Litecoin will now move in to that spending space. Since Litecoin has a Block every 2.5 minutes versus 10 minutes for Bitcoin all a merchant has to do is require 4 confirmations to be as secure as Bitcoin even though 1 confirmation is good enough for small purchase. If bitcoin is 288 billion market cap then Litecoin should trade Between minimum 10% and 25% max of bitcoin putting Litecoin market cap 28 billion to 72 billion. Thus right now since Litecoin market cap is only 11 billion and 215 price then 28 billion/11 billion = 2.54*215 Litecoin price equals minimum value for Litecoin of 546 to a high of 72 billion/11billion = 6.54 *215 which equals a high valuation (based on Bitcoins current price of 16000) of 1406 for Litecoin.
That's right that is the valuation right now not two weeks from now, so Litecoin is worth 546 to 1406 and it is currently just 219 this second. This is a 1000 coin in my opinion by analyzing the current environment and the high fee problems Bitcoin will be saddled with for many many months it may get worse for them. At best Bitcoin is for storage of wealth and Litecoin is for everything else both storage of wealth and the cost effective movement of money with no borders.
