One of the reason from the newspaper (can't remind), with which I agree: More people buy into cryptocurrency through Bitcoin through sites like Coinbase, it becomes much clearer to see how Litecoin's speed and low fees are a benefit to them.

Buying LTC is extremely risky. I expect us to have a multi-year bear market like the one we just had where LTC dropped 90% in value ($48 to $4). So if you can't handle LTC dropping to $20, don't buy! ----------------------charlie lee warning....

should i sell the litecoins now?

Litecoin is still undervalued. Big time. We will chat about this like we did on btc prices last year.
Litecoin will pump bigtime just after Ripple crashes.

Yes, it's true, Litecoin is way undervalued! I remember last year, on the same time Bitcoin hit ATH of $800, and within an year from then we have over $16000 for BTC !I dont know why, but I have the feeling it will happen the same to Litecoin, we will see a huge pump in 2018, and definitely LTC deserves that!

lol, i love the ignorant claims of alot of people here. 'ripple will crash because 15 big banks own it' 'ripple will crash en litecoin will moon because the supply of litecoin is way smaller'..

You guys do understand that indeed the banks control the economy and are desperate to remain in control. Ripple reduces the transaction costs by 60% for banks and makes transfers almost instant. Why would banks let it crash when they could gain way more by actually using it?

blockchain is a great innovation, however, banks like to remain in control. Ripple is the compromise?

I do love litecoin, and it's rise is justified and long overdue. But so is ripple's rise. Beside that, ripple is pretty close to having the biggest user case. once the beta testing with the banks are over they are going to be actually used on a daily basis for bank transactions, these transactions can go up to the trillions. (and in order to do that you need a large supply in which 100 billion is even moderate since coins get burned per transaction and the amount of banktransactions are huge)

i am more concerned with the upcoming correction (given the marketcap growth of cryptocurrency's) and the possible ban on crypto's from south Korea. As i've heard, alot of volume which made litecoin climb was from south Korea. Correct me if i'm wrong, i haven't fact checked it.

I am losing my mind waiting for my transactions to go through on Coinbase.
Want to transfer coins to GDAX so I can buy altcoins, but didn’t realize how long the transactions would take on Coinbase.
Now every time I check prices are going up on the alts I have my eye on..  Angry

It is shaking up to short the weak hands and seasonal profit takers from the caravan. LTC at this stage going through first correction which will be good for healthy growth and to sustain the achievement of the previous day. All is fine and good when your eyes are on long term benefits.

BITCOIN===>THE DISRUPTIVE CYBERCURRENCY
Just remember folks ripple is owned by 15 big banks, you know the same kind of ppl that have been using all our money to get rich & giving back tiny % rates of interest. And trying to spook everyone with the same old one liner "its a bubble, its a bubble" becuase they don't want to lose control as the control and profits of money goes back to the people via crypto!

So don't feel a thing as you cash in your ripple profits before they dive - and into a cooler coin like Litecoin!

going up!

LitecoinPlatinum will disrupt LTC like Bcash disrupted BTC :-D weeee

hm, I was just checking on coinmarketcap ... $293.29 USD (-11.00%)
Is this a good entry point for Litecoin ? Do you guys think it will eventually pass the $400 ? What else can drive the price so high in such a short time ?

The market cap was US $244 billion when I started investing 6 weeks ago - it's taken years to get there but only those 6 weeks to more than double to half a trillion dollars (hit that this week).

The in pouring of investment is phenomenal but stil only a 20th of the dotcom investments in the 90s, I think we could easily see 2-3 trillion market cap for the whole industry within a year which makes every coin worth a lot more & the quality ones an order of magnitude higher - specially the ones with a limited issue like Litecoin (84 mill) & not billions or a billion like Ripple.

The current price is excellent Litecoin buying in my opinion - its swung as low as its been for days and bound to snap back shortly as the next set of markets open.

As for bubbles hahahaha - the banks have been desperately trying to tell anyone who will listen that bitcoin was a bubble since it was $200.
Now those same banks are scrambling to join the crypto revolution - in fact Swiss banking giant UBS, along with other banking industry heavyweights, are planning to use blockchain as a means of complying with new regulations scheduled to go live in the EU on Jan. 3.

Guys,
Do you think a correction is coming or the price is going to stay high (or even go higher)?
It will continue higher throughout 2018 and beyond, with small dips along the way.
The crypto world knows what is going on, no longer in the dark as to what coin is superior.

LTC to at least $8000 in 2018.

If you only read the headlines it sounds like truth  however this enthusiasm  will get dampened by the first damp in 2018.
