Next year sometime old times will be back like LTC was at 1/10th of Bitcoin's value. LTC came out like dark horse in current situation when most of the people were not expecting good times for altcoins but it made everyone's opinions wrong and keep climbing up and up.

Litecoin is often compared to Bitcoin, and for good reason: the two digital currencies are closely related, with Litecoin having been heavily influenced by its older peer when it was developed in 2011. Both share a deflationary nature, with the supply set to taper in the next few years.First, Litecoin has a lifetime cap of 84 million coins, which is four times higher than the total number of Bitcoins that can be mined. Litecoin has a time of 2.5 minutes, compared with 10 minutes for Bitcoin. In practical terms, this means that transactions involving Litecoin will be confirmed four times faster than those for Bitcoin, according to Seeking Alpha's Melwin Phillip.Litecoin's mining algorithms are significantly simpler than those of Bitcoin, meaning it can be mined on computers which are less powerful and that it will take less energy.

Agreed. Holding LTC is a must. When BTC will hit 100,000 USD it will be valued at 10k at least

I like this project. Here explains that miners will get 50 coins per block. What do I want to know, is it the perfect coin? or can it still be more?

The mining reward per block is now 25 coins because halved, but is very hard to mine it because the hashrate is huge and you'll need a lot of hash power to mine Litcoin. Since the scrypt asics are out is very hard to mine Litecoin.

Agreed, we've seen it go from U.S. $165 to $341 in 24 hours so you would think $700 is possible by Christmas - and 750 to $800 by NYE.

But 2018 is way too hard to gauge for me - it could just flatten out at a new higher level or go way up.

from steady trend to steadily rising up to its real value - who is complaining.. that article was written December 11.

Interesting to note the huge shift in trade volumes

Litecoin has 22.29% of the global trading volume this past 24 hours

- double that of ETH which has been shunted to third place at 11.22%
- And Bitcoin down from its usual 51% sits on 41.1%

The Cryptocurrency never sleep

8)And that's right and it was Now ....... So many coins in this world that want the bitcoin place and she has always been at her side good and quiet always from the beginning of time
without ever having any pretensions to be the number one and that everyone called (Silver) but for a long time was relegated to $ 50 now and came to give it its fair price value .... And
maybe even exchange in many Exchange I think the LTC deserves this Cheesy

Now in pure trading terms - LITECOIN doubling it's price in one 24 hour period today is pretty damn solid -
when was the last time BTC did  that?

 I just googled

"the price of bitcoin doubled today" here is what came back

 - the-price-of-bitcoin-has-doubled-in-two-weeks-now-above-16k
 - bitcoin-rival-doubles-in-price-in-four-days-as-bitcoin-price-slumps (on bitcoin gold)
 -  Bitcoin has doubled in value in a month to over $4,000 - Aug. 14, 2017

LTC is outperforming the whole field right now that's seems for sure

---------------------------------------------------------

"Litecoin’s drama-free community and even keel give it less volatility and a steady trend, making it great for arbitration, trading, spending, or even fundraising. Savvy cryptocurrency enthusiasts have compared bitcoin’s market capitalization to Litecoin and done the math based on its maximum number of coins and other traits and have almost unanimously declared that it is undervalued. Even so, with much progress being made on the Lightning Network, Litecoin may one day soon evolve into the truest form of cryptocurrency yet, and leave the others in the dust".
