No mining pool set yet? would like to mine this.

Can anybody upload their QT for windows? every link is dead. Can't even find tutorial for solo mining.
Thanks.

I re-posted the link a page or two back from the original post on page 12.

Thanks. downloaded.

btw, wallet not syncing, it says "No block source available", any solution to this?
Thanks.

Dam, I guess that makes sense.

I'm getting 43.76 after diving it by my HPM and I'm running Windows 10 64-bit.

On windows, create a batch file by using a text editor with something like the following:

Code:
:loop
start C:\Users\username\Desktop\yam-yvg1900-M8a-win64-ivy-bridge\yam-yvg1900-M8a-win64-ivy-bridge\win64-ivy-bridge\yam.exe --config C:\Users\username\Desktop\yam-yvg1900-M8a-win64-ivy-bridge\yam-yvg1900-M8a-win64-ivy-bridge\win64-ivy-bridge\custom.cfg ...
timeout /t 1800 >null
taskkill /f /im yam.exe >nul
goto loop

In the above example, I am assuming that the config file is stored in the same folder as the yam executable. You should also ensure that the batch file has the extension .bat in order to just click and execute the batch file. You can change the value 1800 to something else as it is the number of seconds the loop will pause before killing the task yam.exe. I chose 1800 for you as it is 30 minutes and it should allow your miner to work without exceeding your calculated 43.76 minutes.

Thanks man, that seemed to do the trick.

Sounds good, could you post the config file for the yam miner, I keep getting reconnects.

The problem that you are probably experiencing is the donation of hashes issue. After 400 hashes, yam will stop mining because it is unable to connect to the hard coded pool and contribute hashes for donation to the author yvg1900. This is a forever problem because the hard coded pool no longer exists. Until we get a new pool up and yvg1900 updates his software, we are stuck with making our own workarounds.

To get around this, you will need to do different things depending on whether you have Linux, Windows, or Macintosh. Regardless of system type, you need to set yam to restart every so often before you reach 400 hashes.  The amount of time you need is based on the HPM of your CPU and can be found if you divide 400 hashes by your HPM.

Does any link to anything work, wallet, miner, etc?

None of the original links work because the site is down.

Catch it - last wallet+full synced blockchain - https://mega.nz/#!Dc9hUJiQ!HDRDpah_FiF_3bbweTHdIjdoAPMrtTHIJ7-yflB4lfI
Only add your own memorycoin.conf file.

Use the link posted by mycoinsstore back from page 12.

Thanks, I'm from the HODL thread, mined quite a bit in the beginning, trying to find some other CPU coin.
Solo mining worth it these days?

Well, there are about 700 MMC created a day. The trading value on Poloniex is about 0.00001800 BTC/MMC. There has been a fair amount of interest lately in MMC so the difficulty has gone up a little, but solo mining on a decent CPU, i7 with AES-NI, will definitely get you in the game.

I noticed that http://mmc-square.com/ is online again. There is an "under construction" message and a "MemoryCoin community © 2016" notice. It could mean Delinquency is back or maybe even FreeTrade has decided to get the site up and running again.

Is this coin still alive? At least it is still listed on some exchanges.
The link to the wallet is down. Could somebody please upload the wallet to Mega or so?

Thanks  Smiley

If you got back some pages, someone already did that. I believe it also includes a copy of the blockchain.

I'm running the windows wallet on a windows 10 hyperV VM as a server for my mining computers
I gave it 2 [email protected] and 2GB RAM now (up from 1core and 1.5GB RAM)
I remembered too late I set a non-standard port for the wallet so I forwarded that one now - let's see if the connection count starts to increase (currently only 1 connection)

It worked perfectly well without the port forwarding, and yes it is the correct IP address.
The machine it's running on is a pretty underpowered VM tho, so maybe I could increase the core count a bit to improve performance if that even matters

I only recently started port forwarding for MMC. I was typically getting about 4 to 5 connections without port forwarding, but I needed to run addnode in order to sync. When I started port forwarding, my initial connection count jumped dramatically to +10 and I did not need to run addnode.

If your VM is only running the wallet for mining purposes, you should only need 1 core and about 1 GB of memory. You might be able to get away with only using 512 MB, but you will probably need between 1 or 2 GB when you compile the wallet. You can always decrease the VM's resources after you get the system setup.

it's back up to 2 connections now - mining operations back in progress :-)
thanks, but still weird that it would just disconnect like that.
the wallet stopped syncing right after a transaction of mine was pushed through. Any thoughts?

Are you sure that you are port forwarding port 1968 through to the right IP address?
