Well difficulty has more than tripled over the past few days. If it doesn't go back down again then the increase in payouts won't make up for that, so people who were mining earlier do have something of an advantage.

Wow theres a coin with my name in it!!! Cool I gotta get my hands on some.
I've been reading through some of the thread looks like theirs no early adopter advantage with this coin.
Why did the devs decided to elevate the coin height to 160k/block. It kind of defeated the purpose of whales not having an insta-mine advantage early but intead they have a late insta-mine advantage lol

anyway it has a cool name better then cat or dogecoin, so I'll grab some

I'm dropping to 0 fees for 24 hours and 20000 block reward for the next 20 blocks or midnight GMT (whichever comes first)!!!

3 of the 20k bonuses claimed! 17 more to go...

Only 7 bonuses left!! Be quick!

That's all folks! 400000 bounty given out in under 2 hours. We are still running at 0% so come and join us to spread that hash and protect the coin.

Just a suggestion:

fix your coin/day calculation on your pool.  That's what most people use to judge which pool to use, and your's underestimates by quite a bit.  That could be a big reason you're seeing so many people going to other pools in the first place.  Here's an article on how to get a good estimate:

http://www.holynerdvana.com/2014/02/how-to-calculate-coins-per-day-for-any.html

Really? Wow, I would like to think that miners knew how mining worked and rather than look at the calcs, looked at the block find times else I could just set it to 1000000000000 per day and destroy networks.

Still I fear you have a point. Sad I'll sort it in a bit. The issue is with the way mpos calculates it, it's based on a fixed block size but as we all know the size is changing so it will only be a point in time.

According to this list, the Nfactor is increasing tomorrow.  If these dates are accurate, I suggest adding them to the OP as they are now buried back on page 94.

how about releasing an updated osx wallet?
not everyone is using windows, you know...

Try this one i just compiled; but depending of your osx version it might not work. compiled on 10.7.

This one works on 10.7.5 now.  Thanks Queen!

I like this coin, I just picked some up on MINTPAL.com

I think the super high-coin-count will hold prices back a bit.  But at 4-5 satoshis... Its a steal!

I think the setback at launch was actually good for this coin. The fix on the diff really worked perfect and the distribution is good.
Its one of the few good coins that wasn't hyped and pumped, so it managed to have a healthy growth.

Even now that we begin to see some increase on mining and trading volume, its very underrated.

Its my favorite coin at the moment.

tell me about it one guy owned 2Billion coins during the 1st launch

is it just me or is anyone else getting annoyed that blocksolved hasn't temporarily disabled applications for their pool?? I mined there since week 1, and I was # 4 or 5 on list with 1 R9270x. For the past 2 weeks?, they have had more than 50% of the coins hashrate, and have done nothing to try to help spread the hash. I understand wanting all the miners = u get more fees, but if it ruins the coin, or ruins other pools, then is it really worth it? They literally have 10x more hash rate then the next pool, and 4-5x or more than all the other major pools combined. If just 2-4 of the top whales moved, it would make the coin enjoyable for all miners, and those whales would get MORE COINS if they had less people to split them with. Make sense to anyone else?

ya - all the fat whales are in, i have moved to nut pool

ya the nutpool estimate coins is off. I also believe it scares away miners. In the last 2 hours ive mined more than 1/4 more than an estimate for 24 hours. Hard to believe it would be 3x off though.. Fixing it would help improve hash rate there and any other pool with this problem.

Nut2Pools I will never ever again mine in your pool..since 1am last night I was just wasting electricity for 18h after I came back from work and were able to switch to blocksolved...You should give more than just stupid 0% fee and 3h bonus.. LOL. They have reacted right in time, while Your pool way way too late and lot's of miners lost lots of coins on that 1 stupid block.

all the pools went down the wallet was stuck on a block and could get past it

LOL, read what I wrote..I mean REACTION time..all pools should have get down to maintance mod and power up only if they get new wallet..this way people would not waste resources on mining for nothing!

Problem was on the wallet, not in pool. It was same situation all over.
Well, maybe blocksolved was fastest who dowload new wallet.

this is what I mean, they were the fastest..nut2pool could at least shutdown their pool (if they couldn't download new wallet asap) so miners could get pointed to failover pool..some people have work and don't spend 24/7 in front of computer..and If you run a pool and take %fee for that You should react faster then 12h later.
