It says you can CPU mine in the wallet (I know, won't get much) but I have a GPU mining to a pool, can I cpu to the pool also? If so what do I type in the console?

Nobody wants to compile CPU miner for us Sad so now you can't mine at the pool

Thanks, how do I know if I am actually mining from the wallet? I imagine coins are few and far between.

I got an idea when the block rewards descend to 1000/block the devs should reset the nfactor back to 5 and leave it there untill asics are developed for scrypt-jane. Right now no scrypt-ASIC miners are able to hash this coin so the only thing that the nfactor is doing now is causing us to use more energy and produce more heat

This is a good idea my electric went up and im mining less now. I dont really care for cpu miners anyway

actually its bringing CPU mining closer to GPU mining. Im hoping and thinking when this thing hits a higher n factor, we will have a huge influx of CPU miners that can actually make a little coin. And this will be great for the community. /crosses fingers

I dont think cpu mining would help us, we would just be getting attention from botnets
It wont help single miners, but coin yes.

thats a really good point...

is this possible?

ive also noticed its pretty much all about TC. my 270x TC is 28k or so for normal script, and I think im at 16k scrypt-jane. I think I could go higher cuz I have a reg R9270 at 21568 TC and running fine. also having your clocks high makes a dif too. but as for HW errors I can almost bet u need to lower your TC

my r9 290 and r9 270 are getting many hw with I=12 what should I do now?( 2x7870 working fine with I=16)

Try to lower Thread Concurrency. And post your configuration here.

BTW, yesterday I noticed that one card with the same drivers may require different settings for different motherboards.
Yesterday I moved one card to a different motherboard. It used to work with I=15 in previous system and when I moved it to another one I had to use -g 2 -I 12.
Otherwise I was getting mostly HW errors.

I'm skeptical of the leverage thing..  But if you get USD to MRC and vice versa, then that's pretty awesome.  Same with payment services.  That's the kind of thing we need in the crypto world.

This definately looks promising! Shares still available to buy?
Yes. The IPO will finally end March 10th.

Could you extend the IPO to 16 March?

NO! I already invested at early stage... and I am absolutely against another extension!! There already has been a 2 week extension which already made my invest worth less... another extension would be really unfair... More than the first extension already was...

different pool different calculation
http://mrc.blocksolved.com/index.php ,with 1M,about 2600000/day
https://www.mining-pool.co.uk/mrc-microcoin ,with 1M,about 1800000/day

which one correct?

Correct is none of them.... But i would say mining-pool.co.uk is closer to the truth Wink
blocksolved gets a block every minutes or so, their estimation should be more accurate.
It's hard to predicate because the block reward is not fixed. It's based on block number.

This number is more accurate at this time:
1M (LTC) 560000MRC/day or  or 1M (micro) 1400000MRC/day

Hi,
When exactly will the nfactor change? I only see 7th march in the op but not at which time.
Thanks a lot

Time: 1394192763  7 Mar 2014 N: 4096 Nfactor: 11

You can check current Unix epoch time here: http://www.epochconverter.com/

It already pass the time. So it should be happening soon.
