PoW is people mining. PoS is receiving interest, like on a savings account. These simple questions that should be googled/looked up.

That's up to the community, and years of PoS'ing... My guess is Yes, the cap would be removed and some % of interest could continue, just to keep the coin value and to cover spillage (forgot wallet password, hard drive died, etc.).

just wait, your cpu is trying to solve blocks and eventually it will find one and you will get your minted coins.
