MintCoin is going to 100+ satoshi within 4 weeks. I have completed my mining phase of this coin and will now only add to my holding on dips at 4 satoshi as that price is cheaper than mining. Of course we may never hit this price again.

Mining phase complete, good luck and remember - the holders make the biggest profits. Don't allow fear to rob you of your future gains. There are many here that will happily pick up your cheap MintCoins - especially the quiet ones Cheesy

I'd like to hear you guy's estimations of the future value of mint.

How high do you folks picture this one getting, over the long term?

5 sat?

10 sats?

25 satoshis?

100 satoshi?

And along with your answers, feel free to add your opinion of why you think that value will be achieved.
ONLY TIME SHALL TELL!

But I expect quality enough to sustain top 30 coinmarket (why isn't it there already??)
there are some reasons behind it. Easy mined coins badly compared with other coins. THE MINT is totally different system and should not be compared other POW coins. Uses HOLDER the WINNER  PoS. When scarcity starting about 2 weeks later you will see the MINT there Smiley

Just don't miss this 5000 MINT giveaway :-)

What's up with hashstrike??
why whats going on? im on that pool but i havent access my computer all day. something to be concerned about?

3.5 hours, no blocks?

This is the problem with mintcoin currently... if the wallet gets corrupted and it has to re-download the blockchain, it takes that long to synchronize Sad  We have a dual wallet setup now, but for some reason the blockchain corrupted on BOTH of them. I'm not sure what we'll need to do from here but we are investigating every possible avenue to keep our wallet stable.

We have redundant infrastructure on everything, but unfortunately due to the way that MPOS and stratum interact, they both need one wallet to talk to.

I don't know of any proof of stake coin that's balance increase while kept in an exchange. Your coins are not in a personal wallet on an exchange. They are in several large wallets that belong to the exchanges. Those exchanges, I would guess, will have those wallets highly encrypted at all times. This means no minting since they will not mint in an encrypted wallet. I am going to guess that you need to have them in your own wallet and that you need to periodically remove the encryption to allow for the minting to take place.

My question is. what happens to coins kept in an exchange for 20 days. Do they still mint? Does the exchange recognize this and update the amount?

I think it needs to be in your wallet it for it to work.
But... technically an exchange IS putting your currency in a wallet.
I guess if stays 20 days it will increase in exchange we will see Smiley

I highly doubt that would happen. Because it it really your wallet? Maybe someone who runs an exchange can weigh in or the dev.
I'm assuming it would because the amount of currency in your exchange balance is probably just an inserted value, and the wallet code is tied to that value. So if for any reason that wallet value changes, the exchange would automatically reflect it.
