I think they are working on POS.

BK said he wanted to make sure he gets it right before making announcement.

We're all waiting for news and alts haven't been doing great recently except the obvious pumps.

Digibyte developing the coin, are u sure ? I have only read they helped with digibyte implementation, nothing more...
So what is this coin ? Just a modified coingen by a digibyte guy team ?

How many guys ? Is there any kind of team behind this coin ? Which nickname on this forum ? are they reading us ? Can they participate ?

Why POS so long ? some days ago it was a "24h thing", now a weeks thing, why ? is this really a digibyte team guy whose helping, so no priority here ?

There is no accuracy about these things...

I'm probably annoying, but i guess it is legitimate questions.


When you look at other well going coins threads, more updates, faster development, more transparency => market love
Competition is huge.

We have to hit the bottom at some point if we haven't already and news is coming.

I would consider this an investment opportunity as far as crypto goes but of course it's a calculated risk.

I will probably pick up a few more today and I'm not just saying that.

No investor will step in in a coin that is only getting down. 100K to 8K at the moment.

Only a gambler will step in, hoping that it's cheap enough!!!

Digibyte team are developing the coin.
Deadline for POS will be announced soon.
They intend to implement POS before all coins are mined AFAIK.

I'm holding a load too but seems unwise to dump, especially before POS announcement.
I think the lower the price gets the more likely traders are to pick some up.
Scams usually involve dumping the premine but that BTC has been used to keep buying.
A few big investors can make serious returns on this coin, especially at this price.
I'm surprised they haven't stepped in already though.

Pools are empty, in other words, no one give a shit about Nautiluscoin.... no buy pressure, no wall, we are probably not on the dip yet....

So why people should be interested in Naut ? I really dont know...

You want to build a community but you don't act as if it would be necessary to build confidence.
Why should people trust you ? 'cause you're a well known figure ? not enough.

From where i am, i just have the feeling to have been scammed by a well known figure who doesn't really know what she's doing....

Yes it is boring... This coin needs to act now. BK can have a good rep in the world of investments, but for cryptocoins he's like a 85 year old....way to slow in making things done. If he would act slow like this with all his investments ( let an investment go from 100K to under 10K ) then he would be flipping burgers at McDonalds by now.

All the BS about POS is taking tooooo long. A coder makes this happen in max 3 days. Then letting the exchanges know... a few more days....but not like this.....

Ok, I dont have a choice but to accept that answer ( obviously ).. anyways.. heres what I got to say: 'Rome wasent built in a day', yea..pretty boring comment..but im just an average joe, & I cant sit and ponder the world of crypto 8-10 hrs a day, altho, sometimes I do more than I should.. I have no probs sittin on this bit of coin till @ least mining is done..I can see why some are getting ansy tho... diffrnt stokes for different folx I guess. Either way, may the best happen for everyone.

I'm not hiding behind a new username.  I'm just a chronic lurker of bitcointalk and usually choose to participate in other places like reddit.  I felt compelled to create an account and make a post because of the issues surrounding this particular coin.  I've never seen a coin with such obvious promise, problems, and solutions.

slow buying of that amount would spark more buying power which imo needs to be done before POS news or implemented. As u said something needs to be done otherwise this thing loses too much traction. A strategic substantial amount of btc injection + some news on how or when the pos will be implemented needs to happen soon as there are always new buying opportunities with new coins coming out at a exponential rate.

right now miners are just dumping the coin constantly pushing the price down cuz they see no reason to hold. Also larger investors of the coin are losing confidence which will allow for a huge price drop which = deadcoin.

In this fast pace world of crypto coins need news Always!!! Updates everyday on twitter accounts , BK personally needs to post on his twitter as twitter has a massive effect in hype which translates to the price.

BK i really like this coin and ur reputation in this new world of finance is literally on the line.

naut needs to get out of this low price otherwise the community will only talk about its low price because initial investors lose money and that leaves a sour taste in ur mouth for the future of the coin. 

Dont hide behind a new name, use what ever your regular one is & voice your concerns, like any one else, no one will e-hate you for it, or the tee hee hee's will ensue.

But this coin is going to die before proof of stake is implemented unless something is done IMMEDIATELY.  Even with the NSF, the price is tumbling towards Zero.  And who in their right mind would want a proof of stake in a pile of crap?  I personally hold about 25,000 naut coins but i'm seriously considering cutting my losses and cashing out before things get even worse.  Hell, if me and the guy holding 100,000 naut cash out at the same time, that alone could be nautiluscoin's deathblow.


Nautiluscoin supporters:   Don't you realize that someone could crash the entire market with the amount of cash equivalent to a new car?


There's a simple solution.  BKPHI could put his money where his mouth is and inject his own cash into the NSF (again, the cash equivalent of a new car).  The NSF needs a balanced account of both cash/btc and NAUT or it will never work.  The fund cannot work by being completely one sided, especially in it's beginning stages.


BKPHI:  please put down that cuban cigar and purchase around 50 bitcoins to inject in the stabilization fund.  Then go and buy like crazy on mintpal.  It's the only chance your coin will survive.  And I refuse to believe a moderately wealthy person like yourself couldn't do that on a whim.

the fund is neither here nor there, BK often posts his activity with it. we're just in a holding pattern waiting on POS news is all. he says he wants it done right and that's understandable if the team is trying new things.

More than likely because its been posted previously, and im sure its already been cycled a few times judging from the buy's that he's posted before. ( not 100% sure .. but @ 1%, and such a small # as opposed to whts been mined already.. @ this point, I dont think its a major factor ) I could be wrong.. wouldent be the 1st time.. que sera sera. I dont even watch the charts any more.. ill pay more attention to it when mining is completed, altho I know some day trade it.. so they may be more interested in moment by moment, micro-managing of the #'s

The lack of transparency with the NSF would have to be the main issue with this coin.  Who knows what BK could be doing with the premine. Why not allow investors to see the full trading activity on demand?

Ok, so there is this coin - Savecoin (formerly Speedcoin) SPC. It has very interesting feature. It is as they call it PoF - Proof of Fund. As far as i know it is the only one coin with PoF. PoF is a nice alternative for PoS because it needs no staking, there is just interest payed every day. It is very simple - any address gets its interest, so you get your interest if the wallet is open or not, even funds at exchange get it! They made this with huge premine (19 millions out of 21 million of all coins), and now they make payouts from that premine.

I dont know if it could be implemented in NAUT (looks too late becasue it needs bigger premine), but i report this as interesting and innovative (Savecoin looks dead at the moment).

Is there any prob with my questions ? If you want to build a community, i guess it would be nice to have some answers....
