there is a significant increase of volume and price.  I wonder whats causing it?

bags causing it lol
this crypto is completely useless so the only game is P&D

I disagree, NTRN is not useless, it is a digital currency that stakes on its own weight, with minimal resources used.

The main use of NTRN is as a digital piggybank, to generate interest on an investment, and capitalize on that amount for holding and trading. Its that simple, and thats why I like it.

if i'm a dumbass how do i know i like it too ?
here's 2 basic principles of crypto, seems none applicable to ntrn:
1. crypto is free and easy to use by any human with undamaged intellect
2. one should be able to buy pizza with crypto

where's my pizza ?

I just downloaded the wallet and noticed that there are 0 connections to the Neutron network.  How do I connect the windows wallet so that it can sync?

Need some Mnode Guide

I followed the one on

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/568?postId=3681

Problems i get
1) Could not vin allocate collateral address

Staking is =0 on both masternode and neutron.conf
Tried setup again a new masternode with new collateral address
Payment confirmed
Firewall is offed

Steps i perform
Before i start - I disabled the firewall
1) Create allias
2) Add IP:Port [ The IP i get it from "Whats my ip address" then the port i follow on the guide which shows :9999
3) Then i added this command "Staking=0" in  both masternode.conf and neutron.conf
4) Then i copy the config file and paste it into my masternode.conf file
5) I simply key in the username/password with random characters, port with 9999, then  IP:Port
6) Sent 25001 to the collateral address from the nuclues MN that i created
7) Wait for 10 confirmation, still having the "could not vin allocate collateral address"
Cool I tried resend the 25001 from the same collateral address, but still it shows "could not vin allocate collateral address"

What is the error here?

thanks

You dont need the masternode.conf since it doestn work for NTRN yet (I hope it will be changed with the next update). What you need is neutron.conf only and set up your MNs thru console its saver to know if you did everything right, the MN front client says often "successfully started" while in 90% of cases it doenst start anything.... but when the console tells you "masternode started successfully" then you can be sure it actually started.

Contact me on PIO slack and I will go thru it with you, its better to explain such things live.

Cheers!

For coins that is deposited into the Mnode address

Let's say i wanted to stop my masternode

Is it withdrawable?

Thanks

Of course it is. You can stop your MN and sell your 25000 NTRN anytime.

But currently it only makes sense to run MNs if you only got one or if you operate multiple from different directories (Neutron1, Neutron2 etc..) but its not how a MN operates usually. For now Im just staking and will follow the development.

Cheers!

1)Do we have slacks for this group?

2)Lets say i create a masternode, sent 25K collateral to the Mnode address, with X IP.
But after i reset my modem, my ip changed, what should i do now?
Thanks

Change the IP in the .conf to the actual IP, restart your wallet and start the MN again.

No slack yet but the dev told me it would be a nice idea.

This is very strange - good and stable masternode coin but doesn't cost at least 10 cents during this masternodecoin madness Smiley

mn madness is long gone, it was segwit lately and almost done too, next will be.... mmm i forgot what it was

Could not find means the QT doesnt see/read the masternode.conf but WHY? Its there and its not empty and yes its masternode.conf not masternode.conf.txt

BECAUSE it's not there in ntrn, it uses only a portion of darkcoin mn system.
i wrote already before that ntrn mnodes is bullshit,
i could run em only as separate wallets, and operate thru rpc and custom scripts.
all that crap was made for hype only, profit-wise simple staking wallet is better

Ok I see. What a crap... There is much more to take out of NTRN but the devs need seriously start to develop it...
Look at all the other MNs where everything works well they all have at least 1MIO cap if we want to reach similar results some revision is definitely necessary.

Cheers!

Hello folks,

Can someone tell me why the neutron-qt doesnt recognize the masternode.conf? My masternode.conf is there with the following information:
Alias IP:9999 Masternode Privkey Masternode output Masternode index
But when I type "masternode list-conf" in the console it gives me just an empty message like the masternode.conf isnt there or like its empty...

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.11435503

This is local setting for 1 MN, I want to setup more then 1 and not on my local machine but on different plans and therefor "masternode=1" is not needed in the neutron.conf but masternode.conf is needed for multiple MNs and the QT seem to not see/read the masternode.conf in the roaming folder.
Also to start MNs from the masternode.conf you need to run "masternode start-many" for all at once or "masternode start-alias ALIAS"... works fine for all other coins but not for NTRN. When I type "masternode start-alias MN1" I get:

19:02:39

{
"alias" : "MN1",
"result" : "failed",
"errorMessage" : "could not find alias in config. Verify with list-conf."
}

Could not find means the QT doesnt see/read the masternode.conf but WHY? Its there and its not empty and yes its masternode.conf not masternode.conf.txt

Please I'm not very good with PC and configurations. Where can I find information or a useful guide to making a masternode. For me it is better to have a video guide.
Please post how to do more mastero on a PC? Where can I see how many masternode are now active and how much do you earn a day with an MN?
Thank you

How can i add?

I saw those nodes, i try enter in the debug console window

It shows me :
21:27:21

Method not found (code -32601)

in conf file (Neutron.conf)

Search in both installed folder and appdata folder, doesn't have the .conf there ;/

close wallet/daemon
in NTRN's appdata folder where wallet.dat located create text file Neutron.conf,
(precisely Neutron.conf, not Neutron.txt or Neutron.conf.txt, ...)
with this content:

listen=1
addnode=188.77.220.250:32001
addnode=86.46.54.198:32001
addnode=74.118.192.18:32001
addnode=85.236.191.153:32001
addnode=62.109.23.145:32001
addnode=82.146.40.21:32001
addnode=81.177.26.193:32001
addnode=85.172.60.17:32001
addnode=85.175.216.200:32001

start wallet

Holy, thanks alot, will try that later, guess this should work. Appreciate your hardwork!

I only can run 1 Masternode all other MNs that I set up and start doesnt connect.

different p2p ports and keys, right ? and every node has its own chain data

Thanks for your answer.

What do you mean "different p2p ports"? Different Masternode keys = Yes, but different ports? If you use different IP (VPS) you can use same port.
For example:

169.54.87.116:9999
169.54.87.117:9999
169.54.87.122:9999

etc...

And own chain data? Not sure what you mean since every VPS has its own ./Neutrond server and of course its own chain.
If you mean to setup multiple wallets like "Neutron1, Neutron2..." in the Roaming directory then its not what Im asking for.
To run the same wallet 100 times on the same machine (Windows) is bullshit. Its possible to operate ALL MNs from one single wallet you just need to setup the QT on different IPs/VPS and point your wallet to them.

My problem is to define in the local conf all the nodes that are running on the different IPs/VPS.

This is the settings for one MN:

rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=neutronrpc
rpcpassword=ljaljlö4jo4jopOPIHpoin4oijlkajg
server=1
listen=1
daemon=1
port=9999
masternode=1
masternodeaddr=99.45.112.125:9999
masternodeprivkey=5zms9GUec9e2MnYGrt2zYy9cL8gCwzqaDke3IGiz683DrVXMm4B

How do I define the second, third masternode in the local wallet?

If you set "masternode=1" it wont accept multiple MNs but if I remove this setting from the conf the wallet tells me "you must set masternode=1"....
