Dont know what news is coming , but look like dumping already happened.

Hi we were afraid that when switching from allcoin to bittrex volume would be too diluted so we encouraged users to move to bittrex.  This created weak buy walls on allcoin and the price quickly fell.  Then we believe people saw the low price on allcoin, got nervous, and started selling on bittrex.  As you can see the price has stabalized around 10 sat and orders are now starting to build up. Like anything sustainable, it does not happen overnight.

I also want to make it clear that we added bittrex based on requests from our community.

Correct to all but, flippin on the exchange you support only added to the "weak buying walls" and Since a majority of people who trade crypto clearly have no previous trading experience or at least very limited, the first thing every new coin "community" starts demanding is more exchanges, not understanding that all it achieves is another form of dilution... as is evident by the addition of bittrex.

Holding to your comments of supporting Allcoin and discouraging additional exchanges until Fuel had found a stable price would likely have Fuel sitting in the 25 sat range or higher, then adding another.

I have coins trading on over 15 exchanges, trading between them, so Iam not partial to a specific exchange, but in the case of fuel I was partial to Allcoin being that it had the strongest market.

Going forward, if you choose to support / promote Bittrex and Allcoin together, while discouraging other exchanges, you can create a increased trading volume on both. Yes everyone wants decentralized, but the reality is that if you want to really help with charity fund raising then the price of fuel is important and the more control you take on were it is traded (bottlenecking by limiting exchanges) the greater the chance of a sustained greater price and successful fund raising for Charity.

Trying to sync the FUEL wallet but I'm not getting any connections, using the latest source code and addnodes in the OP. Anyone have some working addnodes?

On bittrex! Updating the link under exchanges now!
and now the trading pressure is being diluted.
More exchanges dosnt mean wider visibility and increased price...... supply and demand spread thinner leads to stagnant markets or dump sites. Unless you have a steady stream of BIG news coming I dont see this as a plus.

-   BTC VOL 4.45 BTC

-   https://www.allcoin.com/trade/fuel_btc
-   BTC 24h Volume 3.10 BTC

-   all these exchanges and looking to add more is the same thing as dumping the pre mine. It is a form of dilution. Kills the trading volume and the Buy/Sell pressure.

-   Adding bittrex halved what was a nice developing market on Allcoin. The excitment seems to have worn off on the new exchange as well, as volume is dropping....

Just for fun I had a look around and the best site seems to be Allcoin for the moment.

Allcoin.com is a clean exchange, managers are quick to correct any issues and they, including the ceo are open to suggested changes .... however Allcoin.com is lacking in the most important aspect of an exchange at the moment.... volume/liquidity. This is a problem across the board. There are so many exchanges out now that the market at present cant sustain them.

For some reason every coin community tries to get there coin spread as thin as possible by having it added to as many exchanges as possible. This just creates dump sites.

If Fuel were to communicate with say allcoin and provide them with giveaway coins ( https://www.allcoin.com/giveaway ) and spend time promoting to just that exchange the trade volume will increase leading to liquidity. ...

- What happened to this? (see below)

Hi,
Allcoin is our favorite exchange and it is the one we are promoting on twitter when talking about trading FUEL.....

We are open to suggestions, comments, and concerns. Please just let us know and we will work with you to strengthen the Fuel Community.

-  And Now.

We are moving away from smaller exchanges and just to Bittrex. .......................

I appreciate the transparency Altcointoday and your self are working towards, but what I have lists above is a huge red flag for me.

FuelCoin is backed by both a U.S. Company and Dutch Corporation.

And how do you back such claims?

I am personally in charge of this charity initiative for the U.S. based company.

So , how about you tell us which company is that? Of course you have no idea...
Also , 50% premine , people thinking this is true are probably idiots.

And still no answer on this one.
God , there are so many stupid people here falling in every possible trap.

This should answer all your questions about the pre-mine: http://www.altcointoday.com/2014/06/04/fuel-coin-premine-escrow/#.U4-AK7JruMw.twitter

We are moving away from smaller exchanges and just to Bittrex. It has not even been listed for 24 hours so please give it some time for buy orders to accumulate.  Secondly, we do not want to do anything too fast, because if the price is only sustained by news then it is an easy dump once the new subsides.  If it grows gradually, without the need for news to pump it up quick, then it will be sustainable long-term and that is our goal.

We are not going to "destroy" the pre-mine..It is being held by altcointoday so it is untouchable unless all 5 members of the board give approval to allocate a small amount to a cause or charity.  This is being done so it is not all distributed at once like many other heavily pre-mined coins that have disappeared once given out due to massive dumping.

Long-term we will always be transparent and plan on donating to charity organizations in the Portland area of the United States and then expanding from there.  Feedback is always welcome so feel free to let us know how you feel about FUEL!

Well thank you, one thing I do understand about cryptos is that a hype rarely lasts longer than a month no matter what you do and that you have to make the most out of it now. If you really think you can keep peoples eyes pointed at fuelcoin for more than week without a big announcement you're very naive. Let's be honest, do you really see any real world use case scenarios for fuelcoin, merchant acceptance, fuelcoin ATM's, the works? You don't have to agree with me, but the reality is that right now the things that draw attention the most are anon, exotic algos and coincutting, so if you want to rise you'll have to go with this flow.

Don't get me wrong, being one of the major stakeholders I would love to see Fuelcoin rise to incredible heights, but I don't see it staying there for very long no matter what happens, and I don't expect it to happen at all if none of the fashionable new stuff is announced.

And my above post wasn't meant to look like "a plan", in fact I don't have a plan at all for fuelcoin and I'm not willing to contribute anything to it apart from a couple of million fuelcoin in bounties. I'm just trying to get people enthousiastic to stir things up, and yes I'm giving some examples of what would draw attention, because we've seen these things draw the attention over and over again.

Sorry but you're plan is . ride the hype wave , don't bother longterm with real world usage as there will be none.
Not really a good plan for a bagholder , in my humble opinion.

Fit for a pump and dump more.

Alright guys, being added to Bittrex is a milestone and definitely a step forward, now we need to keep this momentum by bringing a constant stream of news.

Next announcement should be Multipool/Anon/Move to POS or X13, Multi-algo, whatever/Mintpal addition/Destruction of a considerable portion of the premine/Cut coin supply/Funding of the first charity project/Android wallet/Changing difficulty retarget, and, first and formost we have to create a lot of buzz around it.

The usual so to say, but it needs to happen soon to pace things up, emphasizing on the charity aspect can only be made substantial by funding some project, however order depth is still so thin we can't even dream of that yet.

First thing needed now is increased volume because this attracts daytraders and whales which we need, so please keep trading, tweeting and doing all you can to get us in the picture while the devs work on substantial steps forward so we can put our money where our mouth is.

If we are putting bounties up to get certain things done I'm more than happy to donate some fuelcoin. And please keep posting on this thread to bump it up.

Fuelcoin being hit by miners is actually a terrible thing, because all they will do is mine and sell, plummeting the price, so a 4hr difficulty retarget is just unsustainable.

Fuelcoin to da moon!!!

I do hope that with time you'll start understanding more about cryptos.
Your plan is a such a mess and filled with so many stupid assumptions it's hard to believe even you believe in what you are writing down.
