I think Piggy is being sabotaged by your competitors. I have been watching it closely, the buys and sells since the time it was in the 40s. Someone has been buying and dumping it. It's an effective way of killing coins. You need to chip in or get in an equity partner to stabilize the prices and stop the price drop. I have a lot of piggy myself and I don't intent to sell them this year. You have good products and the coin is way below it's real value in terms of price. Majority of the crypto traders are not long term investors. They want to see up/down action otherwise they will jump into the next active coin.  I believe this should be your top priority.

Heheh, actually that was me (was in a rush to raise funds for a Reddcoin arbitrage/pump). Don't worry, I'll be buying back in myself.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but getting the online piggybank working should be a priority. Hard to speak highly of a coin when its website is broken in a key function. Then, develop the banking function so parents can use it to easily and conveniently pay kids for doing chores, getting good grades and so forth. Getting families actually using it will be a big step forward, as will developing educational programs that use it in schools.

The reason, I'm still buying at this prices, is extremely low POS reward (inflation), even though it was an accident  , and of course the developer (piggycoin)  .Just now someone dumped 1.5m coins into my orders at poloniex.
I already have a lot of piggys and its not in the market, I'm not planning to sell it.

Of course its an excellent idea to help the dev team as much as possible.The coin is all about the community, isn't it?
The community is indispensable part of every coin, therefore its needs to take part in its advancement  as much as possible.

What this coin lacks is community (large one).Almost everyone are in altcoins for a quick profit and losing interest in the coin after  price drops.This coin needs to change that notion IMO.
At least I'm for the long haul

Ok i Spoke with dev and other people.

We would like to create a team for comunication, for projects, ideas and all others things about piggy that can help it to be a good coin.

I would like to have some opinion from comunity.

What do you think about new members to help the dev? Is it a good idea?

What will make you invest in piggy and keep piggy out of the market ?

If you want to help piggy to succeed would you like to be member of team?, and if so will you have time to invest in or some skills that can help us ?.

We want to do transparency, projects,  to attract more people and we want to be trustable.

We dont want to let if fall down.

Dev will still work a lot on piggy and project, we will maybe ask some dev to help us for free or for some piggy coin , maybe bitcoin.

We will comunicate a lot more than before, dont think its a scam coin, i didnt sold any piggy even when it was at 50 im one of the big owners and i will not sell till a really good price my goal is not instant money or scam or big pump followed by big dump.

I agree, but I still don't think we should pay people to push the price up right now.  We need to develop those features mentioned earlier first.

Price is insanely low, there are still project and we can still have a good price.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought there were one or more pools now where you could receive payouts in PIGGY.

On Coinking I have the option to auto-convert other coins to PIGGY, though the process seemed erratic. Some smaller holdings of less popular coins never did get converted, though others have.

PIGGY is pure PoS

A pool like dedicated pool would be a good thing. Piggy could get many potential followers.

Does someone know, wheather piggy is still POW? hyprid? or only POS?

Perhaps it would be helpful to list the projects and ideas here that the community can help push to completion, or at least to get a status on each:

1. Easysend.
2. Getting the online piggybank working again.
3. Any sites offering toys or rewards etc. for spending piggycoin.
4. Educational sites using piggycoin to help teach crypto.
5. A means for parents of allocating piggycoin to kids accounts as chores (etc.) are done.
etc.

A while back I indicated an interest in doing a homeschool unit study on finance that would incorporate piggycoin. I developed somewhat grandoise plans for a (book-length) major unit study on the topic, then bogged down outlining it and got discouraged. That follows a pattern I have of wanting to write a book, then bogging down after a chapter or two with my perfectionist tendencies. But while I'll never written a book, I have written many articles and a chapter in a published book, so the key for me is keeping things manageable.

So if I simplify my plans and just put together a freebie unit study that anyone can use on the web, I have a much better chance of pulling it off. That's the direction I'm pursuing now. If some of us can just put together modest projects like that and those mentioned above, do some marketing to get more and more people buying holdings of piggycoin for its intended purpose, the price will take care of itself.

Can you please update the donation address under the page with the new one, and maybe reduce the number of coins payed to 5 coins for it to not dry up fast.I would donate to that site from time to time.

I have so many ideas that I want to share with the community, but unfortunately I can't express it in English well enough

Thanks a lot. I got the changed coins.

I'm in the group now.  I really hope as a team, we can get the coin to a higher price.  A high price is not the goal of the coin, but the price is just unbearably low at the moment.  It would be very unfortunate to have a good-willed coin and dev fail because of the lack of participation in the community.
