Ok... I will accept the explanation of the unclaimed accounts.

However, you still have 40% going to 8 accounts.  Are these dev. accounts?
Come-from-Beyond said he paid only 0.1 Bitcoin

Okay,  I will accept your explanation.

Are you saying the original dev just took the 21 BTC and left?

The currency website www.nextcoin.org and NXT echange platform DGEX.com are both hosted by the same company that appears have produced the currency.
That's Graviton Capital Inc.
By checking the WHOIS info on these websites the admin of both is [email protected]

By googling that emailadress I discovered other websites that are adminned by this guy:

http://www.ipaddressden.com/email/[email protected]

http://www.webboar.com/whois-email/[email protected]

These are domainnames of gambling websites that look like scams.
The one that caught my eye the most is: www.ponzigame.com
PONZI GAME...

Above all that: in the terms of DGEX.com NXT exchange website it says that all BTC tranfered in to your DGEX account will become property of DGEX.com
So if DGEX.com decides to take all the BTC and close the website there is nothing you can do about it.

Yes, because someone actually running a Ponzi scheme would CERTAINLY be advertising the fact in de domain name  Roll Eyes

Then explain why you have so much faith in Level Coin and his alleged IPO scam ?

I liked the Level coin idea.   So I stole it.  No harm in that.

Is it a scam?  I have no idea.

Fixed it for ya...

I'm interested...may be that NXT with a fair distribution (and cleaned up code) may end up taking off.

In that case you should check out: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-nem-4-billions-coins-part-1-this-thread-is-no-longer-used-422129

OMFG ! The IPO scams are multiplying exponentially ! Shocked

 Grin

but still, better the other ones than Carlos/FrictionlessCoin/Solracx imo, because here chance of success equals zero

+1.
I'm not too keen on clone coins, they only serve to dilute the market, confuse real investors and allow scammers to operate.
Innovation is good, competition is good.....even if you are competing with something I've invested in.

Having said that, the only NXT clone I have any real problems with is nex, and that is purely because of FrictionlessCoin/solracx/whoever.

Who is really bad at reading his own thread, among his other issues. There i was, giving him the benefit of the doubt for a change, and all we get back from him is a load of bull as he talks to himself:

..... projects of his/her/them, that all seem to follow roughly the same pattern:

Storms into someone elses party with no beer. Or girls.
Demand to be allowed to DJ, while stealing all the beer and annoying everyone.
Fucks up his DJ set, says that the decks* were rubbish.
Storms out, stealing the decks and more beer on the way.
Says it is all your fault for having a shit party.
Leaves alone, you never see your decks again...or the beer.

Having said that, FC is incredibly annoying, but is he really an outright scam artist ?
I estimate that he's got 8-12 human investors (not counting sock puppets/himself) so far. That'll net him maybe 10-20,000 NXT, not counting lucky88888 who claims to have lost 9995 NXT by using the nex client.

Hmmmm......that's about 1-2 BTC, seems like a lot of work and hassle for not much return

NameCoin are down 122 NMC (I think) which is......0.8 BTC. Big time scams these are not.

Maybe he's just not very good at crypto, or playing with others, obviously.

So has he been up to any real thievery or is it purely the result of a big mouth and incompetence?
See:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning%E2%80%93Kruger_effect

*Decks, for anyone over 70, are turntables/record players.

So, I'm now forced to conclude that he is a outright scam artist, and should be treated as such. Gave him a chance, but he's just not smart enough to shut up, get out and cut his losses

Lets move on to hypocrisy:

FC thinks NXT distribution is unfair, 73 founders got it all initially.
FC is solracx.
solracx has most of the Zenith coin. (or approximately 50%)
Fair distribution ftw !

Anyhow, the man is an ...... (insert epithet here)...and I do feel slightly sorry for anyone who invests with him.
Still, no-one can say they weren't warned, and I do look forward to personally pointing and laughing at various people as the nex project falls apart over the next few weeks.

Shall we start a thread in scam accusations?

No one will believe anything you have to say unless you explain why solracx is using your name.

I am not part of a smear campaign, I am merely asking questions and stating facts.

The negative trust you posted on my profile is completely UNJUSTIFIED. Remove it IMMEDIATELY.

If you have anything to say, say it here or on the accusation thread I have against solracx. Any/all future PMs from you and solracx will be ignored.

funny, Nxt's open distribution was 61 days long. This guy wants to have it only for one week.. NEX is probably the most unfair IPO then

Ok... I will accept the explanation of the unclaimed accounts.

However, you still have 40% going to 8 accounts.  Are these dev. accounts?

Q:    how many bitcoins are you going to contribute? (Are you going to keep the coins you contributed yourself?  Or you will take a creator cut (certain %)
BCNext::    I don't know how much I will contribute.  This depends on the price of Bitcoin and some other factors.  These bitcoins, like the others, will be used to pay bounties for development.  No creator cut.

What happened with the 21 Bitcoins?

Bitcoins were required to determine how to split the stake among founders. That's why BCNext asked for tiny amounts. These bitcoins were used to fund development but they covered only part of expenses. When people talk about Nxt IPO they forget about this important detail.  21 Bitcoins were used as a token amount. They didn’t represent any real world development costs.  BCNext did everything only for the people, not for the money.

The original funding period was open for over a month and a half.  That was more than enough time for everyone who wanted to invest to invest.  The only reason he only collected 21 BTC was because there was very little interest.  No matter when the IPO period ends there will always be people who are "left out".  You could conduct the IPO over a period of a thousand years and there would still be people "left out".
