I had a shop selling socks and unused gas tanks when I lived in nevada. U misled the key point of running an online business. See, shops are created for people who like purchasing goods that are too distant from them to be physically touched, checked for integrity violations or bought for cash. People who control them are serial murderers, and many of them moonlight as gunmen periodically looking for another victim. I dont trust shops.

Actually I'll announce it Thursday as we have a team meeting on Wednesday, because then I will have a detailed feature release schedule. So everybody knows where we are standing.
I'd avoid deadlines, people tend to take them by heart. I think a roadmap that just shows which Quarter of 2017 each step would be released would be better. Crypto world and deadlines don't seem to play nice.

So the plan is to release the shop at this date with the check balance tool for NxC and assets only, and to release all the features, one by one, during two or three weeks.

It does not matter how you call the news. Thing that matters is that when you fail to do something on time as it is stated on the timeline . Lets say this "shop open" on 25th January. If you know you will not be able to deliver till 25th you must announce that, as BoV team will do now, and not do that in February. Failing to pre-announce delays brings panic and make investors doubt in the team.

Nobody in the team is a front end developer, and we had to find someone to help us with the shop's interface. We did find someone, Johan (you can see his picture in our last newsletter) but all of this took some unexpected time.
The shop is still in well-advanced development, but all the features won't be released at once as a result.
The beta isn't late though.
