I did some research about NIX PLATFORM after to see some FUD on twitter.

MANY RED FLAGS (make your own research and opinion)

-Twitter

I have rarely seen so many fake followers, NIXPLATFORM twitter have
every day 100 new followers or more and 70%/85% are fake account
https://twitter.com/NIXplatform

-Github

It's really very active, all comments (99%) come from "matth" but there are
officialy 6 dev (i think "mattth" is the lead dev, team will confirm)
https://nixplatform.io/about/contributors
They can say "all dev work in private repertories" but no one is available
or give information on discord or other social media, only "matth" available and sometimes "pnus" .
Devs are probably "ghost" dev

-PREMINE

Many guys from the team and others posted messages on twitter, discord, bitcointalk and medium that NIX is "NO PREMINE"

some examples:

https://medium.com/@tybalt_nix/what-is-the-nix-platform-b28366c42d95
https://twitter.com/WorldOfCryptos/status/1002997846998683648

The first block was created in 27th JUNE with 38 MILLION NIX coins
https://blockchain.nixplatform.io/block/4a205f5cd00a449e1b5a93343d759fb2fdbfe3de1b77380eeb04942f9d2579a7

35.5 Million+2.5 Million= 38 MILLION
35.5 MILLION was distributed* to ZOIN holders (airdrop)
2.5 MILLION was for dev fund PREMINE PREMINE PREMINE PREMINE
It was distributed in once time so 1 block, for them it corresponds with the 7% dev fund, it's a PREMINE without doubt
*all unclaimed coins will be allocated to dev fund (TEAM)

-DEV FUND

intransparency,No one know exactely this amount,  many guys was
banned from their discord because they asked about it.
Impossible for an investor to say NIX team have 7% or 35% of circulating supply and we know
with the white paper, unclaimed coins was allocated to dev fund.
NIX PLATFORM,be transparent if you want success.

-TEAM

Andrea Cerulli was added in NIX team as lead cryptographer without his agreement : http://andreacerulli.github.io/
He was added in their website and mentionned in this article:
https://medium.com/@nixplatform/introducing-nix-platform-privacy-solution-for-a-new-era-f251f460bfc5

his reaction:
"[18.08.2018] I have recently been informed that a company called NIX added me to their list of collaborators. Please note that I was never involved in any of their projects."

-EXCHANGE LISTING

Nix was listed on IDAX in 29th JUNE with pairs NIX/BTC and NIX/USDt
https://twitter.com/NIXplatform/status/1010585258511814657
Claims airdrop started in 27th JUNE  and finished in 4th JULY
https://twitter.com/NIXplatform/status/1014833888940773376

NIX coins was distributed for the first time in 5th JULY
https://twitter.com/NIXplatform/status/1015087648455774213
and all claims airdrop have been processed in 14th JULY

my question is : WHO SOLD NIX COINS FROM 29tH june TO 5th JULY?
probably NIX TEAM MEMBER(with premine 2.5 million NIX) and MINERS (probably themselves are team member) with a high price.

They don't respect their community, many guys can't sold their coins at this moment because they didn't recieve any coins in their wallet
so for me it's a discrimination form.

I just give my personal opinion and i advise anyone to make some research before to invest in NIX or others coins
Sometimes, it's juste some details that give you the good direction.
Regarding the premine, JB had much more than 2.5mil as that he is still holding coins from claims that were not sent out due to not in the database case.

I bought 5000 NIX on Coinroom recently and I'm holding them for now, and by looking at the development process on Discord and Github I think that in the near future this project could really gain momentum and be in the top 100 or even top 50.

So does it have a staking and a leasing option? the last time i fired up the wallet (i think two months ago) it seemed to only have a staking option.. did not really look.. and a few days later i had some issue with the network so hadn't been on it since. I just noticed their twitter talking about leasing; which is a better solution personally since my pc is not always on and it's pretty ancient so staking actually makes doing other tasks when on a little bit slower which I could do without.

LPoS function is available in the latest version of the qt-wallet. It will also be integrated in both the UI and mobile wallet.

I see a stake option as well? is that active as well? or has LPoS taken over? Sorry been out of the loop, thanks for your time Smiley

Yes, stake leaving your wallet open in your computer.

or LPoS, creating a smart contract with a merchant or yourself and running a vps (cold staking) completely safe.

Returns higher while staking I presume?

same returns, just less the % you are paying to the LPOS provider, (min is 5% right now)

Hi torrmara; I have more return with LPoS than with self staking.

First thing: they are hacked for sure, not probably.

Probably, although it seems that were hacked. Just to be correct. Nothing official yet.

Second thing, especially for newbies entering crypto: it is not recommended to leave coins at an exchange. Run your own NIX wallet, ghost them in the buildin ghost vault, stake them
or lease them with zero risk to a masternode owner. You will find everything in the improved NIX wallet software.

Lease them to masternode owner?

Ghostnodes have nothing to do with LPoS.

You lease and or create a smart-contract with one of the LPoS service providers, which can be found here: https://nixplatform.io/marketplace

Is the NIX staking something like the waves leasing idea? Would I not need to have the wallet running?
Safe and funds remain with me?

Yes. No need to run the wallet, just lease coins to a lpos merchant. Funds stay safe with you at all times.

SAFU. lol
Topia probably hacked. When Block and NIX? Guys, take your chance and rock it.

This project needs to get a boost in awareness. That's all. Professional marketing/branding, big strategic partners, teams that build on top of NIX, great dApps. Haters gonna hate but they will become less heard with every step this project goes forward.
