The easiest way imo is to paste wallet.dat somewhere else, delete everything (except wallet.dat) then run new wallet. In that case you can have backup of your wallet if you accidently delete it in Roaming folder.

I did and renamed it so i could recognize it coz i have another .dat..i put it in my documents tried to do what you say but i buggered up somewhere.. now i can't evne open the qt says error loading blikindex.dat so i gonna see if i can do it on other comp..

It's a checkpoint update, it will need a new wallet download, but you do not need to redownload the whole blockchain again
