Is OPAL wallet for windows updated to the latest version in the OP? Or do we download the one from the OPAL website? Thanks

We always recommend downloading it from the website. We've had issues in the past with people posting bad links on bitcointalk.

The wallet seemed to stop staking even though my weight reported 1 minute. I would restart and it seemed to pick up again and after a while it would stall out my stakes. Not staking now in case my wallet was causing a problem or a fork or something.

my linux node is also constantly crashing. ah. I wish at least whitj came back and started fuddling with this

The code on the main branch was crashing for me on Linux too. I used the basic branch and that has been working fine.
Code:
git clone -b basic https://github.com/OpalCoin/OpalCoin.git

Use the basic wallet code. We removed some of the addons which were causing some issues. Please let me know if you are having issues and if you can send me your debug logs. I will look at these issues as they are bought up.

Thanks,

Hi I have been having an issue with opal daemon shutting down without any information being printed in the debug log to help trouble shoot it. Does opalcoin have some debug level launch flags?

cryptospout. Join us in #opalcoin @freenode irc. We can help you out with your daemon issues there.

Yeap, it is still part of Supernet. See here http://www.supernet.org/coins.php

Also, you get information about coin changes on the supernet blog http://www.supernet.org/blog/

Is OPAL still associated with SuperNET?

Coolcash can answer that better then I can, but let me ask some questions quick..

What system are you running?

What version of Opal are you using?

Have you downloaded the newest wallet from the opal-coin.com or compiled from github?
