Hi,

I was going to invest in Opal but the distribution is a big red flag.

Any comment dev? Having such poor distribution opens investors to significant risk.

800K is the wallet of the Guy who Put out a Malware Wallet and Posted Reply's of the Dev's links and he changed the download link to his malware version. Looks like he only sold about 50K.

The end of the week is coming...

I must hurry my work on the workshop,

(photos, printings, paintings, writing, crowdfunding...)
but you will have some news as promise.

Only available in opal  Wink

You make my nervous Voidlord.  I understand you have a lot to contribute. But think of my negative connotations towards your art contributions and the first Opal Embassy in Marseille, France

As an outsider, not privy to what kind of discussions are going on, it appears you have a love for Art, Opal, and fine wine.

2 out of the 3 of those seem to have predominance, and one of them isn't Opal.

I do like what you're trying to do, and have done for Opal. But somehow I think the efforts are getting clouded.

OPAL mods: Please don't have a knee jerk reaction to dismiss my concerns or ban me from posting.  A healthy discussion and debate is always worthwhile. If anything, it spawns controversy which adds to the postings and discussions and number of responses.

With that being said.. am I the only one that got disturbed when I saw a little girl sitting in the center of the room with a somewhat confused look on her face with massive art hanging on the walls with the tagline "Opal Embassy"

I don't know if it's french wine, or art that Voidlord loves the most, but we need a solid direction here. It's not just the first person to be enthusiastic about the coin that wins the seat.

I believe in Bass.. Voidlord is supportive, but I question the direction.

Let's open this up for a debate.

P.S. What spawned this post, is Voidlord's promise of more photos (art), more paintings...

Boy tough crowd, I'm glad I didn't plaster any of my art Huh up on the opal thread.  I tend to like Art, Magi, and fine wine.  You guys may have to run me off like so many other historical magic using types.  Please no fire - brings back bad memories.  Wink Cheesy

Just like to say that I really liked Voidlord's postings and in fact have purchased and placed orders for a fairly large amount (to me) of opal on the exchanges because of it.  Many times art posted on a thread has been inspirational to me and I have even tipped for art work posted, but I know this can be very subjective.  With many of these coins the more people that get involved the better it becomes for the entire coin community.  With a PoS coin in particular it is important to involve a wide range of people so that you don't end up with a few bag holders trading back and forth.  I would even suggest that a bounty be paid for artwork posted here at whatever level to encourage the free flow of coins to people to get them involved.

This coins appears very interesting and like art, all things grow with the love and attraction of those who support it imho.

Hi,

I was going to invest in Opal but the distribution is a big red flag.

Any comment dev? Having such poor distribution opens investors to significant risk.

It's actually fairly good distribution, skewed by supernet owning a 10% of the coin. But they have committed to not selling in the near future

So the above account on Bittrex with 755,000 Opal belongs to SuperNET?

To the best of my knowledge

This account does not belong to SuperNet as SuperNet do not hold any coins on exchanges.

I was hoping this account belonged to the dev team.
afaik it's trex guestimated wallet never ever supernet had have 750 thousand what's this all about? someone again redfalgging whatever he likes to redflag to plant some fud crop seeds on the ground of this thread

Actually, they are accurate account balances and do not rely on Taint analysis like the Rich Lists.

You know a lot of things about Bittrex, SuperNET and Richlists to be a newbie, could you please tell us a few more about you ?

Yes, i am supportive,

My goals are:

to build a concrete place where you can exchange Opal with FIAT money.

Where you can purchase artwork package which include:
-A signed & certified postcards (or posters, or paintings)
-Backed opals (in order to ad a kind of warranty to your purchase)

To build an (at this very moment a "crude") Opal inn where people (4 people max) can have beds an breakfast for around 20$ the night (but only with opal).
To build a little harbour for people who wants to learn about computer, security, exchange,  savings and creation.

I started PoS coins with opal, in november 2014, what i've seen, nice talks, quick answers, opacity , then the fakewallet story took place, and the way the devs, Bassguitarman, Coolcash and Truther,  managed the issue prooved me that wisdom was here.
For me, wisdom is allmost important as art.
Oh not the shock art made by black water, oil or buzz-machine, the real one, with a little bit more than one fulgurance in a blood bath...

Art is absolute expression of humanity.

You can find art everywhere and everybody can make art: but art is only revealing itself a few times in all our works. For my case, i made 300+ oil paintings, 2000+ drawings and only 5% were sold as artworks.

So there is art in coding, and to be cruel for my community (artists): a lot more than in Damian Hirst's formolin sharks, Jeff Koons Faïence Poodles or Maurizio Cattelan's Hanging Horse.

As i have a lot of paintings, drawings available,
As i am the owner of this little dungeon in Marseille Centre.
As since 2013 with the European capital of culture role, Marseille is a little bit more attractive. (Come ! You will find Sun, again Sun, Sea, City, and healthy food).
As unifying a crypto network with real world was the idea which lead me.

i think it is the right time for me to run this.

I leave in France, a country devastated by ten years of  "bling-bling" managment, (Sarkozy actions was very reactive to mass media, an affair: an action : this leads to a varnish politic lead by real-time "followers" emotions. Emotions generated by a media buzz rush essentially made of  fear, war and trauma. Good news are not bankable. Not only in bitcoins and more specifically in this country.

The child you saw is my daughter, the only fan i have. A brilliant girl who want to help his father, but who is affected by my lack of time...

Times has been rude for me these last years, guys.
the www.voidlord.fr which took me 3 years to build is on rubble after a forced migration to the news e-commerce system of 1and1, my website provider (remember: i am not a coder, so i choose a CMS: they migrated only the e-business part of the site to their new templates and crushed all the other parts (artwork index, glossary, projects, news, articles...80% of the website... )

I went down like the bitcoin, most of my jobs, my friends, my family flew away.
I do not complain, i just tell you that because you are the ones who deserve my truth even the bad/sad one i kept inside me since this fall.

My reaction was not to choose to drown myself. Smiley , basic archimede stuff.

My reaction was to keep on fighting:
-save my house (done),
-get new missions (IT data mining and lead generation, done)
-translating, repairing, explaining, coloring Opal community (artworks, creation of a facebook page, creation of a google+ page, creation of a french opal tread, creation of a guide... done)
-learn by myself how to build html websites (two in progress, http://photosroman.com the very first one for a friend study*, and chinogram.com, a mobile responsive php/mysql website still under localhost)
-and building the embassy (in progress).

Voidlord aka Tristan Kissourine

P.S: i am supporting opalcoin with the inputs and the time i have, regarding Bitcointalk, 3 peoples are active in the team, hopefully Truther will be back soon, i speak about facts, i revealed my personal ID's: that is not a clouded demarche. Now, Toldy, could you clarify your assumption about my predominance, because it seems like you are spreading innocently in the air the fact that i am an alcoholic.

I don't know why you threw that: over than 225 posts i made, i did not see more than 2 posts about wine, which is 1%, if i like french wine (like 100% of the connoisseurs), it is with moderation.

This style will deserve you man (or woman i don't know, it is unclear...Wink )

thanks for the clear part of your post, let's have an interesting debate about opal foundation, new team members, organized marketing campaigns... ... let's have ideas, (for marketing campaign, i can handle some google+ or facebook adverts op).

*:  if you look closer you will see me playing "le prince des médias".

Hi guys, here is a little guide on how to avoid google query phishing: (with an ongoing phishing  Wink )

- After a google query: place your cursor over the link, don't click, but check the bottom of your browser: there is the true url.
(here we can see a long long string of characters which redirect to the suspicious one: *adrect.info

- Just go to a whois provider like http://whois.domaintools.com and search for this address (without the star)

- You will find the names, the phone number and the email given by the registrant (don't be too fast, sometimes, even the id are wrong or usurped)
at this point you can make other queries about the name, the email, and the phone.
usually a good path is the phone number. (dont hesitate to copy paste some chinese results in google translate to help you)
