Thank you for this question! We always take the community feedback in mind and received some recommendations regarding the Signature and Avatar program right at the beginning of the announcement. Since then every UPDATE on the program is communicated with the community and announced officially here in the Bounty thread which is the most up-to-date source of information. Hi Open Source University is a decentralised platform that provides better opportunities for collaboration between the three key players - Academia, Businesses and Learners. We are not a University and the content in the platform is provided by MOOC's and Universities. Their courses and Programs could be online and traditional. What is more important is the easy transaction of achievements and skills - certifications and diplomas. OS.University helps learners claim and advance their academic and professional identity beyond borders by providing them a learning and development passport as a service on the immutable blockchain.

Our certified users are the Universities and the MOOC's - the institutions that provide those certificates. OS.University is not a Certification Authority. Therefore you could see your diplomas validated and verified by the University you've graduated and it is going to be accessible any time in the Open Source University platform.

Businesses on the other side will be able to see, upon request of course, your educational stored value and provide you with better career opportunities.

A promising project, even though I think it will be difficult to create a university from scratch. What about international students? Will they be able to pay for education in fiat and which languages does the university support?

Hi @SirgulioB! Thank you for this question, actually a lot of people want to know the answer

The amount of tokens to be sold on both private and public pre-sale before the main tokensale was 3700 ETH. This is occasionally labeled as a soft-cap on different listing platforms, considering that it is a target for the pre-sale. However, as we have always communicated, we do not have a set milestone of minimum ETH to be raised, because we are a dedicated R&D team of academicians and software developers that is executing this project for the good part of the last 3 years, with co-financing by the European Commission. We have a mix of financing instruments to back the project, therefore no real soft caps, but clear set of targets to achieve.

Open Source University as a platform is providing universities and course providers with a marketplace where they could add the educational programs. Every learner will have access to these courses and decide which one to apply for (in case it is free) or buy. Whether the course is paid or free depends on "the Certifier", that's why the system is decentralised. Open Source University is only the place they could collaborate - like "Amazon for Education", without the amazon. You have different "distributors" of education but it is your choice which one to go. It is not the Amazon the company that "writes the rules".

Therefore such kind of relationship between companies and learners could be only a matter of discussion between The Learners and The Businesses.

Thank you for this question! The good thing is that so far we do not have quite a lot of competitors. Most of the educational blockchain projects out there are either providing local solution or they do not engage all the three players - Academia, Businesses and Learners. We are using the application of blockchain in education in order to provide learners with the best ways to transfer their skills and achievements everywhere on Earth.

We'll have a MVP very soon and the first testers/representatives from different fields will help us with quality feedback. We have a good team of experts working on the massive adoption of the project and established good partnerships with leading companies and universities in order to have better opportunities for the project to succeed.
