No surrender, no retreat, no regret.
There is a problem with the provider hosting our block explorer and web site. They say there are issues with the upstream provider, but I'm losing my patience with them. I'll move these nodes to another provider soon.

BTW is there anyone in our community with 500+ Reddit karma points? We can get our r/orbitcoin subreddit back. It was unmoderated, got spammed and banned 5 years ago.

Does PXC block explorer use same hosting? It does not work either last week...

The ORB explorer is in a QuadraNet DC in Los Angeles. The PXC explorer is in a ColoCrossing DC in upstate New York.

@all

Avoid using the reflex trader exchange. The entire exchange is broken. Support is very slow to respond 99% of the time and the exchange doesn't work deposit wise.  Already sent them a note about the deposit issue with a test deposit. Shortly after it seems the coin was removed from the list or not displayed.  No response or anything about it.  Not a good sign.

Will warn our users on Crypto-city to "Avoid" Reflex trader.

I tried reflextrader with very small amounts (I asume first that ALL exchanges are burglers, they must earn their reputation first). First I wondered a little bit about vanished deposits. It seems they take a small amount of it as a fee, so very small deposits are not possible.

I changed the deposit into another coin (I did not yet control the amounts), and on withdrawing they pop up an email confirmation message, but the email never arrives. Tried it several times.

At these times there pop up a lot of new "exchanges", do not trust them blindly. Be slow, try with very small amounts first, withdraw as much coins as possible from them after exchanging.

reflextrader has no thread here, I do not find any. A bad sign too.

Also have tried ReflexTrader. And I highly recommend avoiding its use.
It is not an exchange - it a broken piece of shit!

Site is glitching in many browsers, deposits and withdrawal not working properly, they drawing fake trades and volumes on many trade pairs and so on.

Tried to buy ORBs here - begins with errors at registration (they did not like my user name but fail to show proper error message about it - just resetting form again and again until i guessed to change username). Than I deposited some BTC. After few glitches deposit was accounted but from 0.001 btc (~8 USD) i have sent as a test transaction I got only 0.00008990 btc (~0.7 USD) on my balance.

Not sure if it another software glitch or they apply very high fees on DEPOSITS (not withdrawals) as there is no clear fees structure posted on the site.

Later I bought few ORBs with remained btc after deposit rip-off. There glitches continued:
Code:
Date	                Type	Amount (ORB)	Price (BTC)	Total (BTC)
2019-05-25 23:16:20 Sell 5.31000000 0.00003386 0.03971778
1st - a bought only 2,655 ORBs, - they write 5.31. Looks like they count it twice.
2nd - 5.31 ORB at 0.00003386 btc price not corresponding to 0.03971778 btc sum. Not even close. probable it is a volume of whole order i bought from, not size of a trade as it should. Also it was a BUY trade (i as a buyer initiated this trade) - but they write down it as a SELL trade.

Lol they even can not properly write down and multiply numbers. Fail at such simple task!

Later i tried to withdraw ORB - not working either. Just throws red pop-up messages with text "Object-Object" (again instead of proper error message) and do nothing.

No surprise that there was no a single ORB trade there this year. And why they are not listed on Coinmarketcap.

Because ReflexTrader is A PURE SHIT!

@Mad_Max

Orbitcoin is also available at ReflexTrader: https://www.reflextrader.com/tradeview/BTC_ORB

ReflexTrader (part of Cointopay) is trustable but there's almost no volume (yet!).
I think Nova Exchange is a good exchange but there's a very low volume on ALL coins at Nova Exchange.

Yeah, i have a closer look at Nova Exchange today and now understand why they have almost no volume on all coins.
Yes exchange leaves the impression of a fairly reliable and safe company taking their job seriously...
But they have VERY strict almost "forbidding" rules.
Like mandatory identification/verification/AML for ALL user. You must provide all personal info and documents to use it (no any withdrawals without full verification!).
Even world biggest exchanges have milder conditions - like trading without fiat (coin-to-coin) and small withdrawals available without verification/AML or with basic (without sending documents) .
Other policies also strict - like few hundreds confirmation for deposits of minor coins (including ORB).
Therefore, they have such small volumes and they are unlikely to grow in the foreseeable future. People just look and chose other exchanges to trade...

Quote
That's weird indeed, when I look at their ORB address there are many many 0.1-1 ORB amounts...
Maybe the 0.1 ORB is the fee they asked for withdrawing ORB Huh
It was also possible to mine coins in the past at Cryptopia, if ORB was available to mine too that can
explain all the 1 ORB amounts.
I very much doubt that this is the case. Because all these strange transactions were carried out AFTER the closure of the users deposits and withdrawals. And AFTER miner reward was reduced from 1 ORB to 0.5 ORB.

Before the most recent halving the ORB block reward was 1 ORB.

Just keep an eye at this address and at the exchanges that have ORB listed, when they try to 'dump'
the peoples ORB we can contact the exchanges about this, hopefully they can help us by not letting
Cryptopia 'steal' the peoples ORB (and maybe we can even work together with the exchanges to get
this ORB back, that would be great!)

ReflexTrader works for me, on Firefox and Chrome (i'm on Linux):

ReflexTrader does not work for me. Site opens up OK, but no markets/bids/trades - just empty pages. I tried turn off adblock and few different browser - same. Is it works for you NOW?
I see some sells at ReflexTrader but there haven't been any trades yet.
ReflexTrader opened recently so I think not many people know this exchange.

Btw. The ORB sell price at ReflexTrader is cheaper then at TradeSatoshi.

Well, What i was trying to say not about low trade activity/volume but that ReflexTrader not working properly for me at all. And i dont know why.

From all browsers and 2 different computers i see only this (screenshots):

https://yadi.sk/i/L4NDKyOGbjkp4g

Empty pages without ANY actual exchange data.

The Orbitcoin website seems to be offline, my browser says the site is loading
but nothing happened (DNS problem?).

@Ghost if hosting needs to be extended I can do a donation. Let me know.

Yes, both official main site (orbitcoin.org) and block explorer (explorer.orbitcoin.org) are down at least for few last days.

Does not look like a DNS problem. Both domains resolved to ips without a problem.
orbitcoin.org  ==> 107.172.251.18 (hosted by https://www.colocrossing.com/)
explorer.orbitcoin.org ==> 155.94.190.208 (hosted by https://www.quadranet.com/)

But simply are not responding to requests...

Orbitcoin is added to Cryptoid (explorer):
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/orb/  Smiley

@Mad_Max @FractalUniverse and others...

Can you check what Cryptopia Orbitcoin address you used to send your Orbitcoin to or the
address you received your Orbitcoin from?
At Cryptoid there's an option to check the Largest Guesstimated Wallets, maybe we can trace
the Cryptopia addresses to see what supply they hold and to keep an eye on these addresses.

Yes, sure. I have checked my Cryptopia deposit address. Cryptoid point to this aggregate wallet belong to Cryptopia: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/orb/wallet.dws?44441.htm

There was about 120 000 ORBs total on few thousands individual addresses (most of them probable deposit addresses of individual Cryptopia users - including 2 mine).
Coins were NOT affected by the "January Hack".
Wallet was emptied on March 19. It correspond to the time when Cryptopia representatives declared that they "secured" (moved to new wallets) about 40% of total coins and trading was restarted on some pairs.

Now most of the coins from Cryptopia sits there without movement last two month: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/orb/address.dws?oJJ119TX6ZR2moMcvrABGqVZwFYtxhbw99.htm
And it was a very strange series of transactions to collect it there - like sending all coins to random addresses and 0.1 - 1 ORBs to this one. And repeating this process MANY times. each time main part goes to a new random wallet used only once and small portion to the same address (oJJ119TX6ZR2moMcvrABGqVZwFYtxhbw99).
Example of such chain of transaction can be found there: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/orb/tx.dws?4234600.htm
Stupid attempt to mask it as a change and hide tracks?

May be https://www.altilly.com/ will do? You get managed PXC added here, it will be easier compared to trying completely new exchange.
Or other good candidates?

Listing at Altilly isn't that expensive:
Quote
Silver Listing Service

Fee: 200,000 XQR

2 pairs
Listing with the following pairs
XQR + (BTC or DOGE or ETH)
+ twitter announcement

200k XQR is about 0.05 BTC at this moment...

I think Nova Exchange is a good exchange but there's a very low volume on ALL coins at Nova Exchange.

To get listed at a big exchange will costs many thousand of Dollars, really insane, even some very
small exchanges are asking thousands of Dollars  Undecided

Yes, big exchanges often have insane requirement to list. So we will have to stick to smaller exchanges.
https://www.altilly.com/ looks like good variant for me to try. Listing fees not insane. About 400-500$ for standard listing.
And i really like their transparency report (https://www.altilly.com/page/status) - they publish addresses and balances of all exchange's wallets and pending withdrawals&deposits. And updates all this info almost realtime.

not all, but some 13000 ORBs stayed there
So, you must be a second market marker with whom I regularly competed on Cryptopia...

About 15000 my ORBs also stuck there.

Any thoughts on next exchange to trade ORBs?
TradeSatoshy smells bad and there is no other live markets currently: Nova exchange seems working but ORB market is dead - just few small trades per month.
heh
i didnt try compete. i did it all manualy and i was using all profits to buy more ORB.. Smiley

unfortunately i dont see any exchange i can trust yet.  Sad
As it seems there are only two types of exchanges - those which were already hacked/scammed and those who are yet to be hacked/to scam :/
its hard to be liquidity provider in such conditions..

cant we get to same large reputable exchanges? perhaps something in Japan (not sure how are the conditions for foreign users there..)
