Origin Announces $1.3M OGN Buyback

We’re doing this for two reasons.
First, we believe that the utility of holding and using OGN in the governance of the network and our products is currently undervalued.
Second, we want to reduce OGN’s circulating supply. Throughout the last 1.5 years, our team has prioritized keeping the actual circulating supply of OGN lower than the projected supply, as published when we first launched OGN on Binance in January of 2020. At the time of writing, OGN’s actual circulating supply is 308,186,135. Modeled circulating supply was projected at 341,000,000. The difference is 32,813,865 tokens (9%). This project caught my attention not only because it best suits my need, but mainly do to its pursuit of digital representation of real assets, as expressed in the Litepaper: "tokenized representations of physical goods". I am an enthusiast of real currencies, as well as the vehicles that deliver them. I find vehicles that are free of dominion to best suit free markets.

Having said that, following is my inquiry; I would like to know how I can obtain a digital representation for my real product in your digital token of origin protocol. In particular I have excess milk after milking my cow lately. It is only a temporary surplus while my friends are out of town so I wouldn't want anyone holding my token to come knocking when the surplus is no longer. I saw the exchanges where the token is traded, but have not come across any way to link it to the milk.

Also, is there a marketplace where others will have access to the milk? The digital shape of those alone is fascinating.

I greatly appreciate what you all and the team is doing in the direction of this thought. After all, it is bad money that begets bad results and good money that accommodates good.

To receive yield from OUSD on KuCoin, users must stake their OUSD on Pool-X, the staking exchange powered by KuCoin. Yield will be distributed daily at 18:00 PM UTC and will be equivalent to the amount of yield (and roughly the APY) from on-chain OUSD. If no rebasing occurs in the previous 24 hours before the daily distribution time, no yield will be distributed. This is a rare event and OUSD usually rebases several times a day. If no rebasing occurs in 24 hours for some reason, the next rebase should yield higher than normal.

These contracts are USDT-denominated and are cross margin, meaning traders can use their entire account for leverage. Previously, OGN margin trading was restricted to isolated margin, meaning traders had to manually set up funding for leveraged OGN positions, and the maximum leverage was limited to 5x.
