what's up with the CPU's here?

my core2quad q8400 and xeon x3220 are just ~10% utilization (on socket 775 boards)

280x ~ 590 Mhs
390  ~ 770  Mhs
290x ~ 800 Mhs
480   ~ 810 Mhs
fury   ~ 900 Mhs

Hi,   have the same gpu's get 50% of that list.  how u do that?  Linux?, windows? bios update? driver? overclocking?

Testing windows 7/ windows 10/  amd driver 5.12

windows 7 64bit, stock bios, over clocked, driver 16.10.3

watch the power consumption & temps, nice to see high clocks but do take note & don't blow anything up ! Tongue

For those that are wondering.... this is what happens when you plug in a Antminer to mine PASC.

Look at the rejects.

Is it possible to reduce CPU usage with the sgminer version for pascal?

Something wrong with found blocks counting showing on Suprnova:

See Block 58180. Statistics shows it as Suprnova block, but blockchain as Nanopool block :|
yes, this block was forked  by nano shit pool,so everyone should leave the shit pool, big miners solo ,let's fuck the nano shit pool

I think this would be a good coin to mine if you got cheap electricity because it seems to use a little more electricity currently but produces almost identical gains compared to ZEC/ETH mining.

I think when the dust settles, those with cheap power can mine PASC instead and gain a little extra while everybody else will go back to ZEC or ETH.
Yes, seems to be the way this is shaping up, at least right now.

But nice to have another - somewhat decent paying coin to help spread the love around with us miners... helps offset increasing the high difficulty of the others I would think   Cool

Maybe I'm wrong, but there sure seems to be a whole lot of new GPU miners entering the scene lately. Even just good ole gamers with one or 2 cards in their rigs are mining  lol

Amen to that agreed seeing ammount of power this is using and also temps on cards going to fire mode makes me wonder if this even worth mining with the power and temps getting to.

i mined scrypt algo years ago...i'm fine. thanks for the concern  Cheesy

This algo doesn't use as much power as scrypt. Scrypt was horrible. I remember AT THE WALL every 7970 was using 350 Watts, I think this uses around 200 Watts AT THE WALL with 7970.

yup, that's why i used 3x 280x for a 1250w PSU back then, right now it is 4x 280x for a 1250w PSU.

hmm and how do you change platform?  if -p is not password, whats ths platform switch?
on my 295x2 rig, it defaults to the CPU intel for mining
--gpu-platform 1 or 0 (0 default)

thank you!

i know payments are not enabled yet on suprnova.cc
but there is no place to add a paymentID for an exchange, will that be added or how to we add an account+ paymentID?
thanks

You'll be able to add both, there will be an extra field soon (like with XMR).

cool thanks Smiley
and the free accounts will be added soon also I suppose, thats awesome!
also payout upon request will be added once payments are enabled I am assuming, which also makes your pool by far superior to anyother pool

i always though suprnova was for supernova
but now I realize its superiornova  Roll Eyes

I guess the ETC pool is gone also?

Thanks again!

Sgminer gives me 1200+ MH/s on GTX1080.
At Suprnova's side 900-1500 MH/s.
Best pool for Nvidia.

Happy miner +1

Thx OC Kiss
Which miner?

How should the address be spelled properly in supernova pool???
When he registered the domain, he forgot letter "e". So it's like that since then.

does anyone have good config mining PASC with RX480 card? my rig run with high temp (~80°C), fan always run ~ 1k0->1k5rpm, power 910W (6x480). thank you so much.
What is your hashes per gpu and settings for core/memory?
I have about 550Mh/s per gpu.
Core: 1095 MHz
Memory: 2080 MHz
VDDC: 0.9875V
Quite different with me..I got over 700Mh/s for all gpu @ 1100/1000 but Power consumption is too high..I suspect your low hash is related with CPU or something else.
- edit - My core was 1150 not 1100
