Every time you find a nonce and it's not the correct solution it will say that but it does not prevent you from finding blocks when all conditions are met.

So, to summarize: the miner finds possible solutions, not guaranteed ones.

Yes, it's been discussed from time to time upthread. For a while the preferred "fix" was just to keep restarting it - usually it would magically work after, say, 4 attempts.

I've had it work for weeks on end then fail for "no reason". I haven't been able to make it work for a couple of weeks now fwiw, despite trying all the usual tricks including reloading both the miner and the wallet and playing with AMD driver versions.

Since it is mentioned from time to time, but not by many people at any given time, I'd guess it will be a hard one to pin down. The associated Windows message is no help at all, something like "an error has occurred".

I miss it. Sad

i've just transferred a few accounts to other peoples,

i noticed that somehow a space appears in the public key at position #80 for a couple of people,
i exported a key from the 1.3 client and had no issues.

anyone have any theories how that happened?
