Hello Polis Community,

As some of you may know already, the polis blockchain is stuck on block 188328. We have looked into this problem, and found out a bug that made the difficulty go higher than it should be, the problem was  that the last block was mined by a non updated wallet. And the difficulty readjustment didn't trigger.

We recommend everyone to downgrade your wallets to 1.3.1, and start mining on PoW. We will look further on this issues, and will delay the fork day.

My guess would be that you have not updated to the most latest release of Polis, check to make sure you are on v1.4.1, note that a fork will happen at block 188328 so you want to get all your masternodes updated before then or you will be on wrong chain.

All my Polis Masternodes show : NEW START REQUIRED.  When trying to start the masternode by using Start alias option, it now gives error:

Alias:MN1
Failed to start masternode,
Error: Masternode limit reached, masternodes enabled: 2974, cannot enable more masternodes, Current limit is 2000.



Dont tell me that now new limit has been set for masternodes i.e. 2000!  What will people do who intended to buy coins for masternode and now in loss due to fall in price?  Developer needs to do a quick fix to this!

Polis is pleased to offer “a pay to vote reward system” designed to support the governance system.

This proposal will increase awareness for the governance system while rewarding the masternode owners with an airdrop and paving the way for other proposals and general acceptance.

A: The funds will be empty, so no more airdrop for the current month.
Do my old votes count ?
A: Only votes made starting at 03/07 GMT+1 (22:00) will count

This project has a promising future, because it will solve the problem of intermediaries in the financial market. This is very timely, especially in a blockchain space where there are no hard and fast rules. Follow the news.

the very name of the topic already speaks for itself and that is all said. I think if the team succeeds, it will be very popular in the market. It'simportant for the community.

As some of you are aware, yesterday the Cryptopia markets were paused.

POLIS talk to the Cryptopia wallet support team and they told us they are investigating a possible 51% attack on Polis Blockchain.

The last week we have experienced some unusual activity on high purchases and dumps on Cryptopia.
Also we have seen some unusual activity over the network hash difficulty calculation and time between blocks.
Yesterday we run some analytic tests over the Polis Blockchain and we don't find any proof of a 51% attack or a double spend. We informed the Cryptopia team and we are working together to make this analysis as fast as we can to open the markets again.

POLIS have prepare an automatic mechanisms for any attempt of a 51% attack that will work the next time unusual activity is detected.

As for the Core Team, as we stated before we are preparing a switch to a Pow/Pos hybrid system to prevent this kind of attacks.

Hello. I want to invest in the project! But I do not like that there is no team, dead social networks. Is there any work being done? Is the project alive? Please respond?

I see that this platform is strong enough to survive, they do some updates about developments, I am waiting for the POLIS to do something big. POLIS should be doing more development in order to achieve the goal.

It's SUCH a pain to try to figure monitor your MNs. I've been waiting for an automated solution. Polis is working on some remarkable stuff.
