However there is a segmentation fault which needs to be addressed.

can anyone release the Linux Version for the Purk forked Miner? Or at least share the Source code? Not all are mining with Windows.

Development Update

We have been working on the final tasks on the Purk button and the API over the last week. The API, is fully tested and ready to go and we only have a few Qt/layout related tasks remaining as well as the implementation of a secure proxy for incoming transfer requests to the wallet from the button. Once that's done we will be preparing for release. Still looking on track for end of May/start of June.

Regarding the main pool. We had to take the pool down again for maintenance yesterday. This was highly important as we'd been hearing reports of instability from miners and yesterday we witnessed ourself a number of sharp drops in hashrate on the pool and long intervals between finding blocks. We had to take action and believe this was the right decision to make.

We've spent all day diagnosing the issues, which at first were not easily apparent. However, we believe we've caught a few of the major problems and "hope" this will be the end of a lot of the mining interferences on the official pool.

Here's what we did:

- Fixed an issue with validBlockTemplates when testing shares which was causing miners to timeout and disconnect
- Implemented asynchronous sending of new jobs to miners after each scratchpad update.
- Added a new configuration option to limit the number of iterations in vardiff
- Fixed current miner hashrate reporting on frontend
- Upgraded to a dedicated server to improve latency and response time
- Sent all payments that were outstanding from yesterday

The hash of this algorithm has a lot of damage in the mining process, and as time goes on, nvidia's GPU hashing has been going down, and I don't know why.

The official pool is currently down for important maintenance. A number of users have complained about stability of the pools and yesterday we witnessed this first hand. We don't expect to be down for too long, we believe we have identified the issue and we are currently testing the fix. We will update our online social channels accordingly as soon as we are back.

A bull market can reflect investor enthusiasm, if a project is particularly rare, the more will be favored by the investors, looks PURK community is more active, DEV has been very active in the community, interaction is essential.
