is that hard to create GUI for cryptonote coins? UI design should be simple with RPC calls. If Quazar can make a GUI it will definitely more popular than other CryptoNote alts.
That's right, but I'm not sure it is possible because of limitations of cryptonight.

I'm getting 21hr on 7 out of 8 cores of my 8150. Thats nuts... I was only getting 12hr with the newest monero optimized miner.
I'm mining on a linux vm btw. I just compiled from the git. I'm looking at the git of quazarcoin and monero and for the life of me I can't find out what you optimized to get me this very nice hash rate.

Theres is nothing optimized.
Did you git pull the master branch?
Its 100% the same speed as MRO on linux.

Quazarcoin is the fork of the latest BCN rep version. All the commits in Monero at the period between last BCN commit and QCN launch were done just to add BCN's new things to MRO. So your statement is not right, sorry

Looks like it. Speed 7 thread FX 8350 only 4 hs. Monero 12 hs....
The source code for hash function is exactly the same as in Monero, an increase of almost 2 comparing to original hash function.
There was a discussion that Monero binaries are compiled with some other compiler (Intel most likely), I don't have it at the moment.
