It seemed the problem was in a cryptonote library that the pool was using.

Things seem to be stable now. They have been stable since friday late in the night. I did not come back sooner because I did not want to jump the gun and state that it is stable too soon.

All payouts have been delivered, I have checked each transaction against the chains and they exist.

The pool fee has been reduced to 0 and it will remain this way for one week due to the instability that I had. That comes with my sincere apologies for the inconvenience created.

Also you might have noticed payouts have been lowered to running every hour.

@mammothine -> as promised I will try to give you detailed information.
First of all I am a community member, I am not one of the coins devs or something like that. The instructions that I will write are based on personal understanding. Most of the credits go to @slb and @SrAgui as they have already posted some of this instructions.

1. Clean up the old chain(in linux for example it will be in your come directory as a hidden folder called .quazarcoin, in windows I believe it is somewhere in C:\Users\...your_username..\Appdata)
Do not delete your walled files(keys and address files)
2. Download forknote daemon -> http://forknote.net/download/
3. Download forknote config -> https://github.com/forknote/configs/blob/master/quazarcoin.conf
4. Move your wallet files in the forknote daemon folder
5. Start the daemon and let it sync (forknoted.exe --config-file configs\quazarcoin.conf)
6. Start simplewallet from the forknote folder and use the quazarcoin configuration file after your daemon has finished the sync (./simplewallet --config-file configs/quazarcoin.conf)
7. You should see your coins in the wallet.

If you still do not see your coins, you should run the "reset" command in simplewallet(that will reset the wallets cache from the chain).

I do not consider myself a good instructions giver so feel free to ask if something is unclear.

Maybe the misconfig is in the forknote config, not in your pool

In theory yes, the hash was found by the pool, it seems to be some sort of misconfiguration on my part, I am trying to debug and fix it for several hour now

Until I stabilize things and get to the bottom on it, I encourage you not to mine at the pool. I will come back with updates once I have them. Any pending or not sent coins will be sent immediately after I stabilize things

It seems to be a problem with the chain.

I am already trying to sync a second daemon with the network to see if this solves the problem. Does anyone have an idea on what is happening? (google did not help in this situation)

Thanks. Sorry for being a dumbass, but I never received any coins I mined on your pool. So are you telling me the coins I mined are invalid because they're on a new chain, or...? I'm not sure what to make of this.

Chainradar is on the old quazarcoin chain the same one that Minergate is on(that is why when you click the transaction you will get a "transaction not found"). As I have stated the pool runs the forknote daemon. You can see your trasaction in the chain in the daemon itself using the command "print_tx 60bdcdb7db4b12fa0af633e819d4893265a665a8d50189f7e3e2b78af9a71ceb":

Hi, I sent an email, and the payout was not received and is not being recognized on the chain ("transaction not found").

So if I sync with forknote using it's 'quazarcoin.conf' config, and then try to send my coins from minergate to my quazarcoin wallet, i will not recieve them, because it uses old quazar network, right?

Well, if it is, how to 'extract' my quazarcoins out from minergate other way?

If there is enough interest I will launch a pool + block explorer + webwallet in near future to support you guys.
I contacted hitbtc on the issue when I discovered it, but i still got no reply from them, except message redirected to second level.

If you're using 'quazarcoind', it's the original QCN daemon. I'm not sure if anybody except Minergate is running a node and I don't know their IP addr.
Forknote (see https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.11523984) seems to sync without a problem, but as was mentioned above, it forked to a separate blockchain so coins on Forknote clone are no longer compatible with Minergate chain... basically we have two Quazarcoins now

So it looks like we have a separate QCN blockchain running on Forknote... maybe it's time to rebrand and make it a separate coin?

Can someone help me a little?
I trying to use my new quzarcoin wallet. But I can't sync to blockchain.
'quazarcoind' constantly saying, it can't connect to peers. I added 176.9.147.178:8380 but failed to connect to it. Is there any way to find other peers, so I try to sync with them?

I would like to apologise to the miner that joined in. As I have excluded my address from the payouts, I did not know that actually mixin of 3 is not accepted and will reject the transaction with a "MixIn count is too big".
I have corrected this and now payouts have been paid out.

Payouts have been configured to run automatically every 12 hours.

Hi guys,

I got informed QCN does not sync to the Minergate's chain with Forknote anymore. I tried it myself, and I am sad to inform you there is a double spending on Minergate's chain. Here is the block and the transaction where it occurs:


I can calculate how many coins are double/infinite spent, but since the block is found 6 days ago, it might be in the range of millions.

Then it will be running on the latest Bytecoin code, which is (unlike Quazarcoin) being continuously developed. If nothing else, at least it will patch some security issues. I would also expect the price of QCN to increase thanks to this.
More things can follow, but someone would have to take over this coin. My programming skills are unfortunalety not good enough though.

Ok, I'll be switching to pool mining also. Could not find any blocks in 12 hours solo, which hints something was not right in hashing speed (or very bad luck I'd say).

After the fork, what happens then?
