Qora alone is working as a hell of a team, let's do our best for the project. Stop complaining, start doing.
Couldn't agree more

It seems some people are confusing questioning with complaining.

Yeah there are some people who are just genuinely questioning.

You however were fucking complaining.

Please point to my post where I was personally complaining.

Sorry I confused you with Secondleo

No worries. This coin is exciting. So, I think people (me) are more curious than anything else. But, I'm also much more patient than most people on these forums. I missed the IPO, so I'll probably just buy 1m or so at ShareXCoin and see how it goes. Alt coins are so much fun to play with. Wink

By the way. I know for a fact that Qora is not BCNext.
He is working on a new revolutionary completly blockchain free (almost, miniature blockchain of a couple blocks max) Proof of Consensus coin. Ultra fast, ultra secure and definitely not Qora.

Links? Or in light of the discussion we have just had, any reason why anyone should believe you?  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Absolutely no reason. Not the tiniest bit. Wink

Now you have admitted you are making stuff up why are you still here?

That message was just for me, (s)he sent me a PM.

Any Chinese speakers around here that can talk with BTER to add Qora? A lot of us are just getting really tired of Poloniex right now. I think BTER deserve Qora markets.

FYI, I did email them, but I think some Chinese speakers can get the memo across quicker.
Why are you so urgent bter to list qora? There are lots of work should be done at this moment.(building a forum, wiki, etc…)
And list it to exchange is the last things.

WE should wait.

Then maybe we should wait until we see the code before making potentially groundbreaking claims and comparisons about it  i.e. keeping our feet on firm ground  Grin Grin Grin

True...   I got one for you too...

Then maybe we should wait until we see the code before dismissing its validity and/or before attacking the effort using the exact same arguments/claims that were used against Nxt i.e. keeping our feet on firm ground  Grin Grin Grin

I agree  Grin Grin Grin

Now who was dimisissing its validity? My point was exactly what we have just agreed, we don't know anything about the source and shouldn't make any claims about it.

Hence, me wincing when I see "100% unique source code and devs invented new POS algorithms" and "get x2 profit within a month or x5 within a couple of months".

As I can feel us going around for another circle, I'll pre-empt and refer back to my original post and people can cycle through this discussion again rather than us having to type it all out again  Grin  Grin Grin

See my objection here >>>> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.6991377 and I am happy to have agreed not to make claims about things we presently know nothing about.
We believe Qora. That's all.

+1

The paradox of all decentralised cryptos removing the need to trust centralised weak points is the HUGE amount of trust required to get them off the ground  Grin Cheesy Cheesy

Ok, I have made my points and now I am going. I give the floor to anyone else for closing statements and let's move on  Cheesy

Anyone else wondering if Qora's way of not marketing the coin or even trying to get it on exchanges might of been best way?

All the negative waves of newbies is getting annoying.

Actually, no one is being negative. Here are just some people asking normal questions. Not even devestating ones. I think we all point out that we don't see any reason why Qora is bad. Just as we don't see any reason why it is especially good.

I am sure they research all the coins. Qora has syncing issues now, not enough peers also, how do you suppose a professional exchange is going to run it? Poloniex is half hobby for now, it can afford that, but Bter has been around for a while and it tends to deliver. It can't deliver with Qora just yet, there'd be too many complaints about sh*t not working.

(^^^ These are all baseless assertions, loose arrangements of unrelated truths and/or fabrications represented as cast in stone facts or, as it is apparently sometimes known, 'Qora breathing'   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy)

I am afraid you misunderstood the 'Qora breathing' part...   Roll Eyes

How about we start from letting Qora breathe a little bit...  ==  allow sufficient time to develop

'Qora breathing'  !=  inside Qora/Nxt jokes

Fair enough.

Don't try, the cheerleading circlejerk is strong in here.
Everything that is not a hooray for Qora will be buried in a heap of unproveable claims.
I fear this will drive new people with actual skill away.

I have some more questions about the bounty for having a node online:

What happens if the node is offline for one or two days? Is the bounty for the complete week lost?
Sometimes the provider installs updates and reboots the vps and it takes some time until you notice that and can restart the client.

Why is the bounty limited to 10 nodes? Some more would be nice  Grin

Is the bounty paid weekly from the day you register the node or is it paid on a special day, e.g. Monday for every full week the node is running?
