The IPO has ended 24 hours, and the DEV has not shown yet. It's absolutely abnormal.
His last activity is April 16, 2014, 08:11:05 PM.
He did not leave any message. I send a pm to him before the end of ipo, but got nothing.

It's certainly odd that dev hasn't made a recent post considering the IPO has recently ended. I would expect a post stating the IPO is now over, and summarising the IPO (BTC invested direct and escrow, plus anticipated qora per BTC). Plus updating the first post so nobody tries to invest.

But nobody should have expected it to launch right after IPO. Dev stated clearly that this wouldn't be for at least two weeks:

The release will not be for atleast 2 weeks but should be within a month.
There is still lots that needs to be done to make it a little bit user-friendly.

When is the claiming shares phase expected to start?

On the release which should be within a month.

That looks just like time to pack things up and disappear.

how many BTCs were invested rather scammed?

1 satoshi was too much if you ask me.
But the last numbers was ... 84BTC ?

Seriously, all those invested are nuts. Think no one really tried the beta and believed that others doing beta testing and everything is fine. Come on! no whitepaper, no technical info, no website, how can you invest such a huge sum? Everyone wants to be rich overnight like NXT shareholders. Nothing wrong with that, but take some serious caution
As always any investor can ask for a refund before the release.

i didn't invest the BTC is here.
But all kinds of investments all have risk, maybe this one will be successful.
I sent 0.3 btc, but I agree with you that all investments have risk and author will keep working

If Qora never returns, then eXo is the only winner...

hope he returns.. if another day passes, then I'll start to really worry

Really , I hate to ask you , but on how many IPO's have you actually been since last December?
And... how many successful ones?

I currently have lost many BTC, at least not with this IPO, since I used escrow and I'm protected.

The successful ones include GPUC,PAWNCOIN,REDDCOIN,HEAVYCOIN, and in the future eXo and possibly EDGE.

The loss is from what I recall from : Visa, Neon/Neutron and many more - around other 5.

Well , I am really glad that you only got caught in a few. I remembered you because you where the only "avatar" member investing in those. at that time.

NXT also has no whitepaper, no technical info, no website too.
The whitepaper has not finished yet.
That why people want to take risks.

I PM'd Qora with this:

If there is any chance that this is not a scam please can you spend just a moment to post on the forum to tell people not to worry and you are just busy.

And if a scam be man enough to reply to me and say you have scammed me.

If you did I wouldn't like to have your soul in its present state but you are welcome to my coins. I don't believe stolen property has much satisfaction compared to honestly gained wealth.
Yes, if this is a scam, please told us as Poscoin did. The anxiety may turn to furious.
If this is not a scam, it will not good for the development of this coin.

Since we all got here anyway maybe it would make sense to make something of it. For example we can do at least a simple fork of Nxt. Like Nas. At least it's something. People will get coins, nobody lost money. Additionaly to 10B planned coins we can release 1B dev fund and 1B marketing fund. Is there any chance we can have a couple of develoreprs that can do such thing?

Why should somebody create a coin for the people that invested in a fake ipo?
Whit this kind of userbase ... the coin is doomed.

Besides , if somebody from the investors knew how to do this , they wouldn't be investors in a coin , they would have already launched it.

Just some thoughts out loud. I guess you right.

Well, how about that. We can make a coin for those who sent money to Anon. We were mindful, we're good initial investors and obviously we wanted to get into new coin. If others would agree we could find a developer for those 46 Btc, could we?

You might not have 46 BTC to play with, as some escrowed investors would likely pull out.

Some options would be:

1. Create PoS bitcoin clone
2. Create NXT clone
3. Create coin as asset within NXT
4. Create coin as asset with XCP

Any of those could be done for considerably less than 46 BTC.

But I'm with niothor on this one; I'm not sure such a coin would be in demand.

Best example to clear things up.
200 000 coins or more , god knows how many BTC and how many $ vanished on mtgox.
The projects that started to compensate that loss for the investors...
