Huh?
Hello. I use a miner SGminer 5.1.1   He is set to multialgo Nice.   But when digging neoscript I get ONLY HW errors. Here is my batch file

I use 14.6 drivers and 0 problems.

yeah could be that 14.6 is okay, 14.9 and 14.12 are giving HW errors over here though Smiley

Drivers.. i believe (correct me if i'm wrong), everything higher then 14.* will give you hardware errors.. but i could be wrong here..

i getting 5.8mhs on qubit 1100/1500 Wink

what for a config u use for the 5.8 ??

I am getting 6.72mh/s on a 290x
also 6.90mh/s on 290

Modified Kernel i assume?

Stock kernel with same settings as you gives me 5.1Mh on a 290.. Smiley

however with the Darkcoin-mod tricks applied it gets me to that same point Smiley
Same kernel that is in sgminer-dev, I modified it quite some time ago with the same things that were done with darkcoin-mod.

Huh?
just noticed that drivers make a huge difference here!

On stock kernel i got around 5.1Mh max on a 290 with 14.12 drivers. i downgraded those to 14.9 and with the same settings i get up to 6.4Mh on stock kernel!

setting my xintensity at 4096.

Hope this helps others out there Smiley

wich tricks u mean ? i am interrested.

Like i said, the darkcoin-mod tricks :p There use to be a standard darkcoin.cl kernel, with some tricks applied it became darkcoin-mod.cl

That is what i'm talking about Smiley

Nah dude unless you are stilling wanting to mine scrypt, this driver set is going to put you at a disadvantage for other algorithms.

Also I think you need AMD APP SDK 2.9 or 3.0 beta

You need to use 14.6 or higher to get better results.

It was only the wind.
Are there any leaked wolf0 drivers for X11 for Pitcarn GPUs. The 270 and the 270X and also the 7870?

Just wondering what the hashrate is? I currently get 2.750Mhash/s

Yeah, I released a Pitcairn bin.

Is there a website where its posted. All I can find in this thread is a Tahiti bin

On Reddit - but my server is currently down.

I have some stupid questions. I havent mined anything in a long time. However, I wanted to fire up a rig to see how it does...

But I have seem to gone full retard. I cant get sgminer to 1) show the mining console once it starts and 2) get valid shares. Right now my invalid shares (using LTCRabbit as a test) are hovering around 90%. Something is very wrong

Both rigs that Im testing are Windows (and I literally know almost nothing about Windows). But here are the specs:

Rig 1# - Windows 8.1

2x R9 290x
Catalyst 13.12
SGMiner v5
and BFGMiner

Rig 2 - Windows 7
2x MSI 7950
SGMiner v5

Is there a breakdown for people like me who dont know how to use Windows to get one of these running? I dont care which one. Just want to get it working properly so I can make adjustments, add cards, etc...you know, all the fun stuff that I [can] handle on Linux without help

Why bother with Windows if you're a Linux guy? Get this: http://www.getpimp.org/

Is there a way to prevent the display card from running slower than it should while mining qubit?

The slower running card is a 290x.

Why do miners sell their crypto currency during the holidays periods? Most of the buyers are away on holidays and you'll only going to get 20% less for crypto currency?

Never make much sense, miners selling patterns Cheesy

They should work, just rename the .bin file if you need to.  I think his has l8 in the filename, some people need l4.

Right - it's safe to replace anyway.

Oh, I also see that you also made available the kernel cl files.  Am I correct to assume that I can drop those in/replace the ones sgminer built when I compiled and sgminer should be able to generate a native bin file with the correct mods the next time I run it?

No, I didn't - those are very old - leaked with the bins. They don't have anywhere near the speed.

Hi Wolf0,

Can you direct me to where can get your darkcoin-mod.cl source?  I have sgminer automatic start using the /etc/rc.local file on my Ubuntu machine and I cannot find where it is creating the .bin file so that I can replace it.  I've even tried doing "find . -name *darkcoin*" from filesystem root as root user and no .bin file is coming up.  My miner works fine, but I have no idea where those .bin files are ending up...so I can't replace anything.  So, I'd rather stick in your modified darkcoin-mod.cl file and recompile sgminer with it.  Thanks.

You can't. Anywhere. My bins leaked, so I officially released them, but I managed to keep my source.
