Well...I'd say as of NOW the odds of obelisk and siatech getting blades out for their boxes Jan 1st, 2019 are pretty much NULL...I'm saying at these prices for all crypto

they may just declare bankruptcy and get out what they can..its a cluster indeed...unless suddenly they can get some revenue quick from their cloud storage vision..just don't see a good end here

I heard Obelisk sold BTC that they got for their ASICs in January at $25000 per BTC, I hope they didn't spend it all already

you are cheater! used a lot of other computers! nothing comes out.

Go to hit yourself on some hard wall with your head

Not only one time, cause this prescription has to be repeated
you're an idiot! A very large number of people can not do it! I hired a programmer who also failed. you are a liar.

Sia classic is a lie. did everything according to the instructions. introduced the seed in version 1.3.4. at the time of the fork, the coins were on the wallet 1.3.7. Sia is a classic no one does not charge 1: 1. scam

is not true, YOu did not follow the instructions correctly
you have to insert the SiaClassic nodes, and please, keep the questions about SiaClassic on their topic https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annsiaclassic-ensuring-decentralization-and-transparency-sia-fork-5056837

Tell me please! what do i need to do to get sia classic coins? I hold coins on 1.3.7. explain more here. thank.

You have to install the 1.3.5 or earlier version, insert the sia classic nodes and recover your seed drom SC
I have alredy explained it here -> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annsiaclassic-ensuring-decentralization-and-transparency-sia-fork-5056837

I think it's not safe. The SIA team did not officially announce how to get this classic. enter the seed in another wallet hmmm ...)

Before I have entered my seed in SCC  I moved SC to a completely mew SC wallet v1.3.7 on a new virtual machine
So, there is no way any hack can happen to you SC
Simple as that

Basically this fork caused sia to become centralized you cant buy a miner and the people who are selling them on Ebay want 4000 I dont see how this fork benefited anyone but the sia team, obelisk and the few batches of miner they sold

From the POV of users of the P2P storage product the situation has improved considerably if nebulous is in better shape, long term dev support of the sia network is much more important than mining centralisation.

Well ..equipment is out..obelisk only

Siacoin is plugging along at whatever price like other cryptos it is dipping down in price again today....like again all crypto

so ....the last point

how goes the decentralized anonymous cloud storage network that is supposed to compete with Amazon Cloud at 10c to the $1 coming?

not hearing a lot on that....and in that is what will determine Siacoin's ultimate fate....kinda should be a topic on this thread huh?

Some thoughts?

1) is it worth building a box for storage to use this system yet for above...or is it still too expensive to build a box from new parts to do such for the return?

2) how are the interfaces for both the wallet and the above box?

3) other concerns/thoughts or breakthroughs?

I don't see anything on the SiaClassic site about a snapshot/airdrop, anyone know what's happening on that side?

Also, as a point of discussion...given that SIA's cloud storage usage is currently at a fraction of the available capacity, doesn't creating four branches water down the market even more?

Sure download the wallet and claim you coins. More info on their website: https://siaclassic.org/

I think that this coin will be able to cope with all difficulties and bring investors a very good profit in the near future. But now everything goes down. Sad

Well, developing company will "earn" on short track with Obelisks, but loose heavy on long with this fork. Obelisk miners will continue to dump till earnings per day normalize for ASIC (5$ a day?) from starting 100$ per day. Prepare Your bags/wallets for discounted SIA.

That's a good thing isn't it? People always like cheap crypto. Especially this guy right here  Roll Eyes  Cool
