Mind sharing Your calculation that leads to "25% loss"?

Last time I looked at the renting out spare disk space..it is at a 25% plus loss...buying used equip and hard drives..it is a NON starter

Sure you can earn more SC in a few ways:

• By mining it
• By being a SIA host and renting out your spare disk space.

any staking opportunity,/ mining or any reward  or any other opportunity  -I want to work with my holding amount of siacoin..

cheap coins lower 100sat (holo, pundi, and other) get some pump, look like some interesting close

Well, anyone get any 2nd batch obelisk's yet? Or for that matter the board stuff?

I sold all mine (5) ASAP, for 2k each, but still, have some compensation coming from Obelisk and Sia-Tech.

In that I looked at the (5) obelisk sc1's for 2 months in the box as 'door stops' till the siacoin fork...I felt the better part

of valor, was to sell them and run away. (its how I roll lately, panic, panic find out I was correct in panic, rinse/wash/repeat)

But, have not heard zip on what is up with the boards shipping the 2nd batch and beyond stuff shipping and the compensation progress.

So curious what is up. Just post your reply on this thread, I'm sure others are also wondering.

Blockchain development is hard and they are writing the rules as they go. There is no copy and paste code, this is groubreaking stuff, and worth wait, be patient. If they gain a share of the global storage market it will be huge. They have big plans.

Weekly video resume should have been resumed and in coming days there should be first of this again. We saw some action and speculation in other markets twice in this month of December alone while here since November price are moving almost on the same line with small plus minus changes. Sia has been much more good as stablecoin but long accumulation should end at breakout.

They had to put the final product on the market on time, time is running...they lost the whole year with the problem of ASICs

just read the topic posts from Q3 2017 until today

I guess the team have been busy with their works, and their moods are not good during this year (bearish one year long).
For now, they have all been on holidays with their families.

IMHO, they don't use bitcointalk anymore is that they are tired of hearing

1) their storage cloud solution is NOT worth renting/building/ or stealing the equipment to use and set up (as yet)

2) address the question on 'what have they been doing" the last 2 years their timeline is out of whack and late

3) the whole 'delegate fiasco' where the top forging folk play games with LISK payouts and hash rate and effect on the project

4) why are you not on bitcointalk anymore?

5) where is the proof (beef) on your 10c to Amazon Clouds $1.00 as you state decentralized cloud storage solution?

6) whatever happened to the 'minerbox' project?

7) ie where is the progress, besides 'late' or 'very late' progress with then a re-do to make the previous mentioned even later? (rinse/wash/repeat)

and lastly

8  why will you never see a reply anywhere on the above anywhere by the devs on  this on bitcointalk..that would only encourage even more questions...best

9) The impossibility of getting their Siacoin wallet pswd to work....have tried 3x to install wallet and do 2nd long 16 words or so pswd key (including copy/paste) and

always comes up as an error. Asked help of sia folk on forums and about ...nada...can't get a wallet to even work in any manner (win 10 64 bit edition microsoft edge

and firefox tried in case it was the browser..again ..deafening silence...

10) those who have had the above work and get the wallet in and the 2nd 16 words or whatever word length pswd to work...a goodly number of them can't synch

the wallet and have to try and re-install wallet...again rinse/wash/repeat

...anyway....as you can see they would get 'killed' if they answered questions on bitcointalk..better to just cherry pick replies on discord or main platforms they use

The SC team is using other official channels, reddit & youtube the most for the news about the project
