Anyone have a preference for mining pools (suprnova.cc   vs.  POOL.MN) ??
After very uneven performance in suprnova decred pool I am not using them any more. No idea about pool.mn
For Signatum I recommend yiimp.ccminer.org

Just took a quick look at yiimp.ccminer.org --- their fees are 2%, which is basically double of the other two.

Perhaps I should point 1 rig to each and see what happens over a period of time.

I've read a bit about mining and it looks like it's impossible to mine on old AMD cards. Do you plan to fix it? I have a bit of 7970, can't mine Signatum too Sad

People, I'm really tired replying PMs with the same content - "bla-bla-bla, it's a virus, gimme source, etc.". I really thought to stick to virus-developement, so it won't blaming for nothing as it happens now.

Think it's clear for everybody that mine and sp's miners have the same opensource base, small difference in code tuning and architecture (sp's 64-bit).

Please, don't PM if you want to blame me, do it in the thread, or open a new thread for abuse, I miss really interesting messages in that mess.

Thank you for understanding.

If it's a false positive then sorry to disturb you. My antivirus flagged your file 3 times already because it tried to call another executable Searchindexer.exe. I'm just trying to get an opinion... Many other ccminer versions get flagged - i have tons of them... my AV usually flags them as "bitcoin miner, bad file, etc" but nothing so specific as with your file like calling unusual functions and access non-related processes in the system.

Where did you download the binaries from? Directly from github/sp__ or some other intermediary?

Any interesting ideas for the ecosystem after PoW, since that will be upon us soon?

Approaching 2nd highest pool at Suprnova which is impressive.  I've watched it grow from just a small number.

The hash-rate and fanbase will be there to power the blockchain based on numbers, but it's really up to the developers vision for PoS that will make or break this thing.

Hard work and dedication is what makes a true "to the moon" experience.  Good luck!

Did anyone else read the Whitepaper yet? It's garbage.
1 how many good whitepapers you write?
2 If you read draft document - go to talk about it to place where you see it

I don't need to have written a whitepaper to read something and no it's garbage and in the case of this whitepaper. Anyone with a basic understanding of grammar would no it's trash.

Are you seriously complaining about grammar while you use "no" instead of "know"?  Roll Eyes

Fuck off, go crawl back under the rock you came from.

I know you're just here for free money from someone else's work, but could you be a little more transparent about it next time?

Instead of saying, "Anyone with a basic understanding of grammar would no it's trash..." you could instead say, "I'm an entitled brat who wants everything in life for free without contributing, please send SIGT to B9oAaZnduS5yUEKCRysspUxJi1XJKu3pYS and I'll stop crying once I receive 50,000,000."

But, really, why not be constructive in your feedback?  SIGT is a community project.  You're part of the community.  Do your part.

Both skunk mod sp1 and Palgin version are flagged as win32.malwaregen on my antivirus. At first I thought this is common - many miners are flagged as antivirus, could be a false flag.

But upon closer observation - my antivirus caught skunk mod sp1 when it tried to create a file services.exe in my windows directory. And Palgin version gets flagged when I try to google search - it tracks search indexes... Anyway - can somebody with more knowledge explain this, because there's definitely some code in these files that intends to do more with your system than just mine the coin.

did you get them from a 3rd party website?
never ever trust a 3rd party link in this  toxic envoiment.
most probably they got infused with a virus that your antivirus wont detect.
if you want to take the risk do it in a safe space.
airgapped computer, virtual pcs or sandboxes.
but the last two wont really help.
try to keep your "sandbox" away in a different network then your wallets and workers.
if there was a virus in the original download people may know by now.
serious pages will always link the source.
i did not check the files you were talking about.

I want to see if other people noticed anything similar. You can't be completely sure until SP and Palgin release the source code - I don't understand why they just don't do that. Almost everybody now has the free optimized version - for safety we should be able to see the source code.

Skids like you can create new IDs as noobs thinking you can get away with it? If you had the balls then why not write something and contribute to the community members why actually wrote something and 4chan khan like you just blow up shit and dwell on pedo porn. Try and do something good with your life instead of taking a dump on the street. You just grab the draft from community and go on 4chan to publish it. You and your other friends.

Good thing is that most people on /biz can see right through the shilling man, no worries there. I am actively fighting the fudders and the shills. I would be happy to get involved in the community as well if there is anything that could be done. I am a pretty decent technical writer (work as engineer on major o&g projects).

Here are my results with GTX970:

ccminer 2.2 skunk: ~12.8, stable at i=23, GPU clock +216, mem clock+756
palgin's ccminer 1.0 skunk: 17.84, unstable @ i=20-23 (Cuda error in func 'skein512_cpu_setBlock_80' at line 582 : unspecified launch failure.), now testing @ i=auto, stable for ~30 minutes (edited: crashed just after I posted this). GPU clock was reduced to +212
sp-mode 3: crashes after 10-30 seconds, illegal memory access. Last speed I noticed was around 17.46

I also noticed that only my last settings with 1.0 are giving almost straight line of power consumption, before that it was fluctuating 5-8% constantly on all miners tested.

Any ways to further improve my speed?
