I'm running win7 ultimate x64.
tried disabling antivirus/firewall.
is there some sort of stupid dependency needed? like some sort of .net framework, or C+ library, etc?
All I get is the silkcoin splash window and then it disappears.

Have you tried booting Windows into Safe Mode & running the SilkCoin Wallet?
If that works, reboot & try running the wallet in normal Windows mode.
If it doesn't work, it may be a software conflict that needs trouble shooting.
Are you running any specialist database or network software?
I have seen issues before with a wallet conflicting with a running ODBC Service.
It could be something similar in your case.
Also, which wallet are you trying? The original wallet or the updated wallet recently released?
Tried running in safe mode, same crash.
It's funny you should say ODBC...
hmm what do I have related...
Dreamweaver (but thats not odbc), webmatrix, mySQL.
So you think there's a conflicting server software on my computer?
But even in safe mode it still crashes.
I'd rather not have to start uninstalling everything on my computer to make this work.
I'm gonna first try installing all the .NET updates because I have a suspicion this crash is dependent on something thats not there.

I bought 5k Silkcoin on Bittrex and am voting every hour I can remember on MINTPAL.I I hope we see a good price rise this week.
