what should I do to get card?

I'm in the same boat. Trying to figure out the best (for now the cheapest) cards to get. Trying to get a few before launch. If anyone is selling some card assets i'd like to buy. Must be a 100% secure transaction.. blah blah. Let me know Smiley

@coincoin,  thanks for your answer, i will look deeper into it,  and ive no problem not to be one of the initial stakeholder, there are some ICOs out there in cryptospace where iam, so i dont care for that, chances are comming and going.

I like your whole concept and i think this is one of the best projects ive seen so far, iam confident that SoG will be indeed a big succes and more and more people will discover it. And iam pretty sure that Blockchain cards with famous cryptoprojects logos will gain in value, cause of demand.

I like your concept and the steps youre doing, so dont get me wrong, maybe ive asked to sharp. My intention is to promote SoG, thats why i try to collect some more information about distribution.

How ever,  i wish Everdreamsoft a great succes in future, its a benefit for the hole cryptospace to see such companys taking part in this space and discovering new business models.

Thanks again for your time and clarifying things.

You suggested earlier that burning bcy transfers equity to the cards themselves, this is not the case, SOG cards can be bought with counterparty in exchanges not just bcy. EDS could burn all bcy and the SOG cards will have their own value regardless of what happens to BCY in the long run.

I do think EDS, BCY, and SOG are playing out the first real experiment of its kind though. The SOG cards do have value, playing them in the game and owning the card as an asset will have as yet unforeseen consequences....

Yeah randombit, chll the fuck out.  Everdreamsoft is a great team and their intentions are to make a great product.  They actually are probably more concerned with how to make cash revenue than the BCY aspect because they will have in game purchases via Google play and Iphone.  I'm not saying they don't care about BCY market, I'm saying their objectives are a little bit higher than yours.  This is a video game and a real product man, not a vaporwave crypto scam.

it looks like we have our first sherlock holmes here. if you are so nerves about this coin, don t invent in it.

nice statement legoman, are you serious? whose sockpuppet is that?

I know that some of you already made a big profit so you dont care,  but it is important for future distribution and acceptance.

I suggest you go read this thread from the beginning and do some research by reading the available info on spellsofgenesis.com and bitcrystals.com all the info you are looking for is out there please do your homework before coming up with conspiracy theories. This is a solid project with clear milestones laid out and reached almost all on time since the crowdsale which is rare in the Crypto space.

...

What i try to understand is,  how all Blockchain Cards are splittet for purchase, whats the mechanism?  is it arbitrariness ?  How does that work?

Shouldnt be there a clear procentuel Amount ,  like  25 % to Everdreamsoft, 5 % to company Members, and 70 % for the open Market.

But atm. you dont see any source and evd. is holding the biggest amount and some cards are puchased with private addresses, isnt it legit to ask for?

I think what you dont understand atm is,  that the value of Bitchristals are transfered to the product "Blockchain Cards" with every Burn of BTY.   That means if Evd. is holding the majority of cards  (over 50, 60 %)  than it is like premining. The hole Value of BTY will be transfered to the Cards.

Now,  please explain me the mechanism, for me it seems and feel like throwing with crumbs for the crowd.

There are set amounts of cards to be put for sale for partners, then whichever other Merchant they go on sale thereafter.

I mentioned to look at the blog earlier and there is a post that describes how it all works with percentages.

http://spellsofgenesis.tumblr.com/post/141656034650/spells-of-genesis-stores-become-merchants

Read it up it should clear a few things up. No team member holds any percentage of cards unless they buy it like everyone else, stock that is saved for future sales is entirely held by EverdreamSoft.

Before you keep going on making assumptions you have to understand that the game has not launched yet, and EDS is doing what every other company would do:
hold on to cards to be sold after the game launch and thereafter. There is no premine, new cards are issued once a week right now and the way distribution works has been more or less the same
since the token sale when Partners and Premium members joined the scene. Everyone involved since a while knows exactly how it works and by the way sales are going people seems to be happy.
If and when there is a need to make a change EDS writes up an update or a survey and asks the community and partners before implementing it as it has happened in the past.

When you say private addresses (and I explained you this before) it means EDS is selling cards to Partners, Premium members and the Public.
Some Partners buy up to 50 cards at the time or more and guess what? These are all private addresses Smiley
On the other end EDS may have some internal addresses to allow various team members to operate the different swapbots but that shouldn't be any of yours or anyone elses business.
They should be able to use and distribute cards as best as they can to streamline operations and maximize profits.

Also don't forget that stock will be needed once the game launches because at that point, if all goes well, there will be thousands of new players onboard and some of these will want to collect all the cards too.
So in my opinion EDS is operating in the best way possible to cater for the influx of new users in the future. Most cards are issued in numbers between 800 and 1200, now imagine if there are 10,000 players just after launch, will there be demand for old cards? What if there are 50,000 or more? Shouldn't EDS have some reserve stock for that in your opinion?

Cards are only the beginning of what you can buy with BCY, there will be other game assets available, merchandise, they will be used to reward people for tournaments and gosh knows what else...
You can even rent shared office space at EDS' headquarters in Geneva right now with BCY. So saying that they all go into cards is wrong.
EDS has always been clear that they would allow any other game producer who wants to to use their system, including token, cards, etc...
They are even building a platform together with IndieSquare to make it a breeze for anyone interested to spin up game assets using Counterparty.
Force of Will is scheduled to be the first physical trading card game to start using the platform to digitize assets for their new App.

You need to be patient and give time to time you can't have all your answers right now as the game is still in development.
I understand you came late to the party as many others who only start following projects when the coin increases in price and there is a bit of buzz.
If that is the case well... Sorry to hear but that is your problem don't make it everyone elses.

Once again, read up the blogpost above and the rest which contains everything you need to know about SoG, cards, etc and it's publicly available.

They are creating the cards. You must understand how counterparty works to get the cards. Anyone can make a asset. It's who and what the asset is tied to that makes it valuable. You can go buy many assets on counterparty not all of which are SoG cards. The SoG cards are made in connection with the developers of the game and sometimes with partner companies. That's what gives them value. They can hold a premine of whatever token they want. To make a token you go and pay a fee on the counterparty exchange. Anyone can do it. BCY uses XCP. It's a token for the economies of games we are participating in.

this is a serious coin with serious development and serious developers, you are just trying to find something that it isnt there. it is clearly a bad effort on your part.

It is working now, it wasnt several hours before, maybe my fault.

But please explain me all this transactions to a private address from issuer adresses.

https://blockscan.com/address/18HfRiUQaqJrJXxnqF3VmynG4XcbCHKxfE

And additional to that,  why is everdreamsoft holding the majority of cards and isnt offering it to the market from the beginning? Its legit to ask for and any person with brain should ask whats going on here,  is all legit? smells abit.

EverdreamSoft (EDS) is holding stock for themselves as the game hasn't even launched officially yet and the secondary market is still developing.
If they intend to sell more cards after the game is launched is their decision and they can do it at the price they want.
At the end of the day this is a game and EDS is a for profit company not an Open Source project so they are supposed to make money.

Also by having extra stock they could even sell card packs to people interested to get their collection kickstarted quickly, this is me speculating.
Cards can be used for promotions, giveaways, bounties, etc as it happened in the past.

This is the second trading card game for EverdreamSoft so they must know a thing or two on how to sell cards and how many to sell and when to maximise adoption and profits.

Also you can get free cards just by playing the game so no one is forced to buy cards if they don't want to.
However I'm a collector and I like to buy them.

As others mentioned here cards are sold on EDS own Merchants (Swapbots), there are 3 of them:

The above are the official places to buy cards right now from EDS.

Anywhere else, including swapbots, DEX, and other online stores are part of the secondary market.

Transactions going from the issuer address may go to EDS swapbot addresses and/or Partners and Premium Members' addresses who purchase them from EDS' swapbots.
Also EDS has been doing many collaborations with different projects and companies and in some cases some cards are allocated to these third parties.

You can't just come here after hundreds of people have been playing the game and purchasing cards for over a year and throw accusations left and right like you did.

Before you can even speak you need to do your own research, learn about how things work, then make your own judgement.
Or at least ask nicely: hey why is this happening? Why is it done this way?

Everyone can follow the blockchain, and thanks for that because that's the whole purpose of making blockchain-based game assets, as well as owners of these assets
can do as they please with them.

If you are really interested to learn more and follow SoG closely I recommend you join the community Slack: https://spellsofgenesis.signup.team/.

There are a lot of resources to get you started too:

Also https://sogassets.com is a great third-party resource for card stats of all kinds and their availability on the DEX and Swapbots.

The team can also expand on this further, I'm only sharing my opinion and what I know seen I have been following the project since its inception and love it. Smiley

Hope this answers your question.

Thank you for your post,

i like SoG and would like to promote it more like i already did in the german sector

There is a lot BCY put aside for promotion. Not much less as is currently out in circulation.  And there is another almost similar sum for future development. Both combine way overweight BCY in circulation.

Oh this doesn't sound good, it reminds me on Synereo AMP scammers. Can anyone from the BCY team tell us about finances? I hate to be in the position where i hodl the coins which might loss a lot of value any time the team decides so.

Here is limited amount of cons that decrease monthly. So if game want to run tournaments and give rewards, bcy need to come form somewhere.

You can see BCY wallets on counterparty asset page, top 2 valets are from EDS. Not sure whose is 4th vallet or EDS or Poloniex.

https://blockscan.com/assetInfo/BITCRYSTALS

At crowdfunding 70 millions BCY was meant to sell but only 14 millions did. 30m stayed at EDS.

At end this is an experiment. Since was never done before.  And is a game. Is impossible to predict how successful it will be. BCY for development and promotion are guaranteed, that even if game will nto be successful can still exist long term.

Not sure what the concern is, cards are assets. EDS isn't obligated to sell all of their assets...
