Does an ingame card become a blockchain card when it´s leveled up?
Not yet, however in the future there will be a "blockchainization" function added to SoG for leveled up in-game cards.

Is there a maximum for each card? Means only e.g first 1000 cards (merged) are able to become a blockchain card?
EDS issue cards in number they want from 300-2000 usually. Some cards are unlocked. I had not checked but this Card that was issued in 1000 and was given for free is for sure unlocked so EDS can issue more anytime they want. It was same case with Footsoldies and Watterscourt cards. Also ingamecards we fuse and blockanize will be unlocked since you can never know how many will be blockanized.
But most blockchain cards are locked and only number that was issued exist and most of them is still in hands of EDS, so the game itself.

premium merchants get cards first, i think there are a few cards that go to general public initially but I cannot really speak to that. In cases that I have tried to buy a card the day it came out they were always only for sale to premium merchants on that day.

How to get free cards?
This free card was for players who linked their counterparty wallet ('Book of Orbs' app recommended) to their game account before the end of April as stated here: http://spellsofgenesis.tumblr.com/post/160012599240/get-a-blockchain-card-as-a-gift
They'll probably give out more free blockchain cards later for promotion purposes so stay tuned.
Confirmed, I am seeing this in my counterparty wallet right now.... cool card.
Hopefully, everyone is broadcasting this game to friends and people that game and collect cool stuff.

Book of Orbs says there are 1000 of these cards but if there are 10000 thousand downloads how many of those people linked their wallet and are also getting the card?
10%? Also some people download and install apps on multiple devices so I think maybe 6-7k individual people downloaded the game so far. And I guess around 1000 of them bothered to create a wallet and link it to their account. I think Book of Orbs is just rounding the total to 1000, it could be a bit more or less than that. By the way love the card, I was looking for a high speed card with good stats in my formation. Only its health is a bit on the low side, but you can't have everything.

Because it has real economy behind and you cant speculate and dream to the infinity as you can with other coins and you know how it is in crypto. buy on rumour and sell on news. What you will rumour about. This much cards gets sold. This much players play. There is no dream 9 bilion people will play like 9 billion people will use DASH for baking Masternodes. LOL
Other coins will also correct when hit the reality.
